Interview with Mark Miles of GetHydroPower.com
Next generation hydrogen-boost technology announced. Present
improvement in fuel economy ranges from 15% to 50%. Latest innovation may boost
that to between 50% and 100% mileage improvement.
ST. PAUL, MN, USA -- On Sept. 2, 2006, from 3:00 to 3:55 pm Pacific time,
Sterling D. Allan will be doing a live
interview with inventor Mark Miles, who happens to be launching his website on
Sept. 2 as well.
His hydrogen boost unit is no hobbyist obsession. Weighing in at 100 lbs,
it is not installed in the engine compartment. With 20 cells and 40
plates, running at 26 amps, Miles claims that the unit "produces the energy
equivalent of a stick of dynamite every five seconds."
"You should see the bubbles billowing off that thing," he says,
referring to his electrolysis unit.
They have named their product "The Gorilla".
Another difference from other hydrogen boost systems is that the Gorilla cell's
hydrogen is inserted at the fuel injection point, not into the air intake.
Miles just received a ScanGauge
yesterday, and has begun compiling data collection on his newest
innovation. On the morning of Sept. 1, he wrote:
My first set up and tests came back with a lot of info I was
shocked to see. We are installing a toggle switch in my cab to get the best
A few interesting items are that when I am driving 65 about 28 mpg seems to be
my best fuel economy. (In a 4.0 liter Ford Sport Trac, 14 - 15 mpg is
However, I cannot maintain that speed because I have too much energy going to
my engine and I have to let off the accelerator which has only been depressed
to about 10 - 17% which on my truck seems to be the minimum. As soon as I let
off a tiny bit my foot is completely off the pedal.
Once this happens I can maintain speed for a good 30 - 60 seconds without
touching the pedal again. Of course during this phase the projected mileage
goes to 60 - 90 mpg.
Anyway the last hour of driving has already provided me with sufficient info
to want to have each and every unit sold to have one of these [ScanGauges]
