HHO Games founder, Joe Shea running for U.S. Congress
One of our own is running for Congress in the 13th District in Florida - where HHO's most important pioneers have lived and worked for
decades. "I hope to get important funding for our industry and wider recognition of its benefits to the American driver."

Joe Shea of Bradenton, Fla., has decided to throw his
hat in the ring, seeking the 13th District Congressional seat now held by Republican Rep. David Jolly.
We know Joseph for his advocacy of exotic renewable energy technologies,
especially HHO, as he is the founder and primary organizer of the annual HHO
Games. He also runs https://AmericanReporter.com
and has submitted a number of great articles to CNN iReport.
He's the first one I know from our world exotic free energy community to run for
high office -- outside of my run for President back in 2004 when Ron Paul
declined to run after we did a petition drive.
In my opinion, Joe has the bearing of a congressman; and since we share many of
the same views about how freedom should be maintained, I would love to see him
win that seat. I hope you'll consider supporting his campaign.
Think of the advocacy our industry could get if one of our people got
into high office.
Incidentally, I've got an appointment with my congressman, Chris Stewart (UT-2), this
coming Friday, here in Ephraim, Utah; arranged last week.
When I discovered I'll only have 10-15 minutes with him, I wrote this email to
his Executive Assistant, Nathaniel Johnson:
|What I'll focus on is getting his attention as to the significance of this issue for
- clean energy solutions
- cleaning up the planet
- affordable energy
- freedom (of movement, independence from grid)
- removal of vulnerability from grid outages
And as a point of action, I'll be seeking to have Congressman Stewart assign someone from his staff to become expert on this topic to be able to apprise him of things Congress might be able to do to aid in the roll-out of these emerging technologies (remove barriers, modify subsidy wording, inform of any grants that might apply, protect from thugs [which unfortunately include the govt. sometimes]). I would argue that within three months he will see the need to have one staff member exclusively assigned to this interface task
on behalf of the industry.
The reason for his attention on this matter is heightened since I am in his district and I am one of the world leaders in this field, arguably one of the most well-known spokesmen and advocates.
I share that for several reasons.
First, I hope you'll follow suit and likewise arrange such a meeting with your
congressman or similar leader in whatever country your reside. It would be good
if many of us were putting pressure on paving the way for these things to have a
Second, it accentuates the value of having one of our own actually get a seat in
Congress or other world political body.
Third, it illustrates how the angels orchestrate things. In all these years I've
been involved in this stuff -- nearly a dozen years -- this is the first time
I've set up such a meeting. Then a few days later, I learn about Joe running for
Congress. I don't consider things like this to be a function of insignificant
Here is Joe's press release about his run, as it pertains to our audience:
March 14, 2014, 11:18am ET -- Joe Shea is running for Congress in the 13th District - where HHO's most important pioneers have lived and worked for decades.
The district, which includes all of Pinellas County from St. Petersburg to Clearwater, was home to Denny Klein and Stan Myers, and now boasts major industry figures like Ed Grimm of Global Hydrogen Technologies in Clearwater and Barry Holzsweig of Fuel Genie Systems in Largo and Belleaire.
One of the biggest HHO Games events in recent years was held at the University of South Florida's St. Petersburg campus, and important figures like Bill Lang of Water to Fuel in Clearwater and dozens of smaller but growing HHO developers call the district home.
The Games got their first front-page coverage from the St. Petersburg Times, which did a major Page 1 story on the HHO Games at Manatee Technical Institute in 2010.
"It is a privilege to try to represent the real heart and soul of the alternative energy and the HHO industry," Shea says.
"I hope to get important funding for our industry and wider recognition of its benefits to the American driver.
That will be part of my effort to foster research into new technologies like LENR/cold fusion and the hydrino
reactor. These technologies have the
potential to break the death-lock fossil fuels have on the world's
economy and that are poisoning our planet."
