Once again, we bring you a compilation of various news items about the various LENR companies since our February 21 compilation. With all the other things going on last week, we skipped a week, so this compilation covers two weeks.

    • Report from the Swedish "Defence Materiel Agency" (FMV) - The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, FMV has therefore financed some very rudimentary experiments with nickel and hydrogen, trying to experimentally reproduce the excess heating power clashed by Andrea Rossi and Sergio Focardi and described e.g. in the Swedish technical newspaper Ny Teknik. (Feb. 22, 2013)
    • Swedish Hydrogen-Nickel Powder Experiments Produce Null Results - Here's a link to a report about recent nickel-hydrogen experiment performed by a Swedish team of researchers. The funding for the experiments was funded by The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration with the goal of trying to reproduce reports of excess power claimed by Rossi and Focardi.       • NASA: A Nuclear Reactor in Your Basement - NASA's LENR research efforts are in the news once again. Steven Krivit reports that the recent attention was triggered by a story published on PhysOrg. He notes that the story was commissioned by the media relations department at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.       • Media Finally "Discovers" NASA LENR Experiments - The mainstream media or at least tech media has finally picked up on the low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) or cold fusion work being done at NASA and some of its implications. At least three stories about Joseph Zawodndy's work at the Langley Research Center in Virginia are floating around online. (ColdFusion3; February 22, 2013)

      • Cold Fusion: pending E-cat, come forward NASA and a company 'Swedish - E-cat. Other competitors coming from Sweden and the United States, in particular by NASA, have long interested in LENR processes . A company of the Nordic country, the Climeon, has filed a patent that could worry Andrea Rossi, while the U.S. space agency itself as a nuclear reactor water heater that does not work either fission or fusion hot. It appears that this site is connected with ARPA-E (Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy), and the results of the voting may put Miley in a good position to present at a pitch event.       • Rossi Third Party Testing to be Complete in March - Andrea Rossi thinks that the independent testing of his ecat Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) device by an independent third party will be completed in March. He also thinks that the results of the testing by the unknown third party will be published sometime in March or soon after. Rossi didn't say where the results would be published or in what publication in the response he made on his blog. (EnergyCatalyzer3; March 3, 2013)

      • Guest List For The First E-Cat Tour - Those who are following the development of Andrea Rossi's E-Cat would probably give their right arm to get to see the new plant in action.       • No Hot Cat Progress With Thermoelectric Process Yet - Andrea Rossi has stated on the Journal of Nuclear Physics that he has been experimenting with the thermoelectric process with his Hot Cats.       • Updates On E-Cat Manufacturing - Frank Acland recently asked Andrea Rossi some really good questions about E-Cat manufacturing, and got some good answers from Andrea Rossi. In response to Mr. Acland's question, Rossi replied that hybrid systems are, indeed, quite possible. We were all excited to learn that the E-Cat could be powered by gas, since this makes it far more possible to set up E-Cats in remote regions to provide power.  (ECatReport; March 6, 2013)
