BSMH-Yildiz' All-Magnet-Motor 30-Day University Test Pending

This month, a leading European university will be conducting a thorough, academically-rigorous, peer-reviewed, independent, scientific test of Turkish Inventor, Muammer Yildiz' all-magnet motor in an isolated room at the university. Not only will this provide the validation Yildiz needs to get funding for a patent, but it will open a new scientific revolution.

Back on April 21, 2010, we reported that Turkish inventor, Muammer Yildiz demonstrated his magnet motor that he alleged runs on the power of magnets alone at Delft University in the Netherlands. The motor was shown turning a fan at a high speed, and no wires could be seen going to the device; then the device was disassembled in front of the group.

Since that time, much has happened, but two key hurdle have lingered: intellectual property (IP) protection and adequate validation.

Yildiz' all-magnet motor has essentially four components. A rotor and stator, as would be expected, then two other components that are unique to his system among anyone worldwide that he knows of who has been pursuing all-magnet motors. For now, we will call these his "black box." It is those two components that allow for the high torque he is able to achieve.

He needs to get international patent protection (at least filed) for the black box before opening the technology to any team that wishes to be involved. But such protection costs a lot of money (in the ballpark of 2-8 million Euros). But in order to get that kind of money, he needs solid third-party verification of the technology.

Now that may be accomplished.

An arrangement has been made with one of the leading universities in Europe, which can't be named yet. They will be conducting an academically rigorous test for thirty days of the "black box", protected under lock and key, with only the shaft protruding to power a load. The test will last 30 days -- many times longer than would be required to rule out any other energy source hidden within the black box. That device will be able to be governed up and down in its power output, and will be rigorously measured for the duration of the test, which will follow TUV standards. (A 24-hour test would most likely be all that is necessary to prove that the motor works, and that no trickery is involved.)

That test could begin as early as mid January, 2013. 

The university is presently preparing a room that will be insulated from all external electromagnetic fields, to also rule out any kind of remote, wireless power source.

One concern I have about that portion of the regimen is that in my understanding of how all-magnet motors work, they are harvesting magnetic forces from the environment, whether Earth's magnetic field, or some other principle of magnetism that we don't fully understand yet. If the university shields the motor from those forces, then it is not likely to work. That would be like trying to test a wind turbine in a room sealed off from all air movement. It defeats the purpose and intent of the technology.

Yes, they should do something to rule out some kind of externally transmitted power (which would be a huge scientific achievement in and of itself); but this can be done quite easily by measuring for electromagnetic radiation.

So yes, as part of the testing to understand where the energy might be coming from, a magnetically shielded room would be a good idea. But this should not be a pre-requisite requirement to validate the technology. The university setting, with the contents of surrounding rooms known and controlled, as well as measuring the ambient electromagnetic field in the room, should be adequate to rule out any kind of man-made, remote power source.

The University will be inviting specialists from around the world in the field of Physics and magnetic phenomenon to participate in the test. Such invitations will be issued by the University, though Yildiz will be making some recommendations based on his interaction with the scientific community he has encountered in the course of his journey.

Yildiz will be able to be present for the tests for observation and advice, but the testing will be controlled by the University.

Once that test is complete, then the University will be issuing a public statement in English via the University's television station, announcing the results of the test. And they will publish the methods, results, and conclusions on their website for interested parties to be able to corroborate the results.

With that test complete, Yildiz with then have the validation required to be able to get the funding to file for the international patent protection.

Once that filing is done, Yildiz will be able to enter into an agreement with business, engineering, manufacturing, and distribution interests; for he will be able to disclose the motor. He already has such a group interested in interfacing with him in this manner. What they lack is the validation, which will be more than adequately covered by the pending University test.

Not only will this provide the validation Yildiz needs to get funding for a patent, but it will open a new scientific revolution pursuing magnets as a prime mover to power the future.

As far back as November, 2012, Yildiz had announced on their website that they would be holding a 72-hour public demonstration of the technology from January 24-27. However, the academics were not satisfied with that situation and prevailed on him to proceed in the manner described above, to which he has now agreed. Some of the scientists who had planned on attending that demonstration may be among those that the University will invite to participate in the 30-day test.

In other news, the following is a list of answers to questions I submitted back on December 11 to Halil Turkmen, a volunteer working directly with Yildiz.

What is your position in the company?

A. I am a friend of Mr. YILDIZ. I try to help in many ways at the moment. Maybe we can call it “Assistant”

Q. How long have you been involved with Muammer Yildiz?

A. Since 1st March 2010, I deal with BSMH - the magnetic monopole.

Regarding the Technology

Q. How many prototypes have been built?

A. 34 different types, 46 in total

Q. How many prototypes have been built from the beginning?

A. I think it was the same question above.

Q. How many from fresh materials? How many from revising an existing prototype?

A. All of them are from fresh materials.

Q. How many prototypes presently exist (both running and non-operational)?

A. All the prototypes exist presently.

Q. How many present prototypes are operational?

A. All of them are operational

Q. How able is the best prototype able to respond to load changes on the output side? Would it be plausible for applications that require rapid response to load changes, or would constant output be more suitable, at least for now?

A. The prototypes are able to respond to load without any problem. Output can be kept constant. It is also possible to control it +/- 

Q. What are the specs of your best design? weight, dimensions, rotation speed, power output, via standard generator (make and model)?, via belt, direct drive, transmission (make and model)?

Q. Since there are magnets involved, and magnets loose their Gauss when they get above certain heats, will you need to engineer cooling systems for certain applications/environments? What is the upper temperature limit for performance?

A. The device does not produce heat. No cooling system needed.

Do you envision an electromagnetic variation of your technology, using the same principles, so that the motor and generator can be housed in one unit?

A. Every design is possible. There are many different combinations.

What kind of maintenance will be required, since there are moving parts?

A. With continuous operation,
Replacement of bearings in 2 years
Replacement of magnets in 18 years

Q. What would you say is the greatest weakness of the technology?

A. The quality of the bearings that we buy from the material market. 

Regarding Credibility

Q. What is the longest the device has run continuously without stopping? Observed by?

A. 15 days

Q. Approximately, how many people have seen this motor design in operation by now?

A. More than 1.000 (One thousand)

Q. What power outputs do each of the prototypes achieve (both the present prototypes and the past)?

A. Min 4 Hp – Max 508 Hp

Q. How was the power output measured?

A. Torque meter and rpm-meter basically. Some other professional tools are also available.

Q. Has the technology been third party tested? By whom? How many third party tests?

A. Eindhoven, Delft, Braunschweig, Dortmund universities demos, and also TUV 

Q. Do you have third party test results available? Public or private?

A. The test results exist at the universities and also at Mr. YILDIZ.

Q. Have government dignitaries viewed the technology? What is their sentiment?

A. They didn’t attend to the demos but they have total information and the feasibility report in hand.

Regarding the Business

Q. How big is the "team" presently?

A. 14 people, just for today

Q. How do you plan to roll out the technology? licensing for manufacturers? distribution? territories? applications? 

A. Licensing is the first step. Distribution is the second step. Territory names are not announced at the moment. Application as an energy source.

Q. What are the general terms of such licensing?

A. It can be discussed privately

Q. In looking at our "Idea to Market" document at  at what stage would you say your group is at in bringing this to market?

A. Business plan 

Q. The patents link on your home page pulls up docs, but there is no way that I can see to close out of that without closing the browser.

Q. How long do you think it will take to get this product into the marketplace for customers to purchase?

A. Almost ready to put into the market

Q. What will be the first devices available? (e.g. home power, vehicle power, industrial power, utility power)

A. The first device may be a kit ( a magnetic motor, mounted to an AC/DC alternator ). 3 different types, 5 kw, 50 kw and 500kw.

Q. What is the smallest output you think will be plausible in the first two years, taking into consideration price, safety, reliability, portability

A. All the 3 types above

Q. Are you accepting investors?

A. Yes, we are in contact with the investors already. And also we are open to new ideas and relationships.

Q. What prototypes / technology demonstration will be available to potential licensing parties?

A. 70 hp, 50 kva

Q. Who do you see as your closest competitor?

A. We don’t see any competitor

Q. What price point do you expect your product to have? How would it compare to solar/wind? Coal/natural gas and other conventional grid power? cheaper than that? 


Q. Perhaps the better question is, how long before customers get a return on investment, given the capital cost to purchase the unit? (There are financial groups who would likely finance the purchase of the unit, so the customer could pay them less than what they pay the grid; and once the unit is paid off, with interest, the unit becomes the customers.)

A. Nearly 2 years to get your money back. Then the device will operate for free, except the maintenance expenses which can be ignored.

Q. I'm in process of launching a reality show (see that will feature technologies like yours. Would you be willing to let a film crew show up and film the technology and your group and a validation of the technology? I'm not sure yet when that might happen. Could be by the time of your January demo, but won't know for a while.

A. We are open to present our invention to the people all over the world. But please inform us about the details before. Because we may need time to be ready, prepared.

Regarding the January 24-27 Demo
Note: This is no longer scheduled, as described above. It is included here as a point of historic interest.

Q. What do you expect to demonstrate on Jan. 24-27? 

A. Proof of power, speed, torque etc… Proof of durability for 72 hours and more under the observation of academicians and world media.

Q. What power output will your Jan 24-27 unit be capable of ?

A. Up to 400 Hp

Q. How many units will you have on demonstration?

A. The newest 3 prototypes and some older ones.

Q. Do you have a url of where any of the third party test results are published?

A. It will be announced 21 days before the presentation (with the hotel's name etc)

Q. Who will be allowed to attend?

A. Everybody may attend to the presentation. But the test hall entrance will be only for the academicians’ jury. All other people may attend to the meeting at the 2nd and 3rd halls.

Q. Is there a cost to attend?

A. No. The presentation is free.

Q. What is the address/location for the demo?

A. According to security purposes and also depending on the total number of attendants, it will be announced 21 days before the meeting.

Q. How many people will this location accommodate for the demo?

A. We don’t know yet

I would not be concerned about transmission of energy or shielding of the room. First you can't shield L waves like Tesla. Second I doubt that there would be any transmission of energy sent to this the form of Hertzian waves. Second you can't shield out magnetic energy from the is everywhere. They can only shield the room from electromagnet waves; and that will not matter. 

The biggest problem I would like to me tested is the strength of the magnets before and after the month of running, as some motors I have seen deplete the magnets over time...

They should be able to measure the torque or locking force before and after the month test

Also, patents are scary....they should have a good plan on how to protect the inventor from National Security Orders from governments.  I have had to live with that before.... NSO's are scary.... 

They should file in several countries using a trust or international corp. [That tends to take them out of the jurisdiction of an NSO].

Advice about Yildiz Pre-30-Day Validation (memo; no link) - Historically, scams have used pending tests to pull in sizeable revenue, prior to come up with an excuse to postpone the test. To validate that Yildiz is not of this ilk, stipulate that any pending funds go into escrow and are not released until after the first 24-hours of the test, if the load is sufficient to rule out hidden energy storage.
