Thrive Movement one year after launch

Kimberly Carter Gamble, Foster's wife, gives a brief report on the last year's developments since the Thrive documentary was released on 11.11.11. Their primary area of interest and involvement has been in free energy, vetting many technology claims. In 2013, they hope to facilitate the advancement of these toward market.

Last year, on November 11, the Thrive Movement documentary was released. It has awakened many people, both to the problems and the factors behind those, as well as to the solutions.

Approximately 20 million people have seen the film, And some 400 activist groups have sprung up around the planet because of the film.

The biggest area of solutions and activist interest from the film has been surrounding free energy.

Free energy inventors have stepped forward, and the Thrive movement has responded by assembling qualified scientists and business interests to help vet and assist the inventors with the most promising technologies, similar to what we are doing at the New Energy Systems Trust (NEST).

Kimberly describes one of the scenarios in which someone said they had figured out how to get the Howard Johnson magnet motor to work using just $127 in parts, and that they had built two more that were powering their neighbor's houses. That one turned out to be a scam (which we reported on as well).

Here's their video.

I think that it's good that we are friendly but not joined in our efforts. It's good to have separate movements tackling this endeavor. It increases the chances that one of these will get to market sooner.

In hearing that Thrive's reach was in the vicinity of "20 million", I was curious how the traffic to our PES sites compares.

According to, here is a comparison of, and  These numbers represent site-wide traffic, not just the home page.

Isolated, both PESN and PESWiki get nearly as much traffic as, especially since June.

Back in November of last year when the Thrive documentary launched, the traffic from PESN and PESWiki combined nearly matched what achieved.

Note that both of us have diminished in traffic over the last year, down nearly to half.

I'm guessing that this probably has to do with "breakthrough burnout", where people get weary of getting their hopes up for something that looks like it is about to emerge, only to be disappointed that either 1) it turned out to be way premature, 2) it turned out to be a fraud, or 3) unforeseen obstacles arose significantly pushing back its launch.

I doubt that trend will reverse into an increasing direction until stuff actually starts making it to market. Then it will go viral. Getting on a reality show will, of course, increase traffic, but not nearly as much as seeing one of these devices fully vindicated.

NOTE: NOTE: We have replaced the previous Echo comment service with Disqus. The old Echo database of comments has now been imported into Disqus. The old comments are loaded in date received order. This will mean that if say, someone posted a reply a week after a comment was posted, then it will appear before the original post does (in other words jumbling up will occur in the normal Parent/Child pattern of replies) and comments will not follow a logical order. However, comments you have made/make in Disqus since the changeover date will appear in the normal order of appearance.

ADVISORY: With any technology, you take a high risk to invest significant time or money unless (1) independent testing has thoroughly corroborated the technology, (2) the group involved has intellectual rights to the technology, and (3) the group has the ability to make a success of the endeavor.
All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.
