Pure Energy Systems News

Once again, we bring you a compilation of various news items about the various LENR companies since our September 13 compilation.

The volume of articles by regular contributors seems down from normal. Perhaps they're resting up from last week, which was intense, on the heels of the E-Cat conference.

Mainstream news sources are indicated with the yellow highlight.

See also Cold Fusion Times.

    • Rossi, Leonardo Corp - E-Cat
      • Site Design
        • Rossi Discloses Modifications to Hot Cat Design - Italian inventor Andrea Rossi certainly works fast, as he finally discloses the latest on the Hot Cat or high temperature e-cat. Just a few days ago, Rossi admitted that redesigning the e-cat product is an option they are looking at very closely. (ECatReport; September 15, 2012)
        • Conduction, Convection And Radiation in the Hot Cat - On Andrea Rossi's blog, Journal of Nuclear Physics Steven Karels asked Rossi about the loss of energy to the outside environment. On September 11th, Karels asked Rossi if it would be beneficial to change the design of the housing for the E-Cat. Rossi seemed receptive to the idea. (ECatReport; September 15, 2012)
        • E-Cat And Control Linearity - A follower and constant commentor on Italian inventor Andrea Rossi's official blog Journal of Nuclear Physics, Steven Karels discussed about e-cat and control linearity. Karels recognized the fact that the e-cat LENR based technology is an interesting heat generation but lacks a fully comprehensive explanation on how it works and the process it follows in order to generate vast quantities of heat. (ECatReport; September 18, 2012)
        • Cold Fusion Catalyst - In past articles e-Cat Site has explored the LANR patents of Belgium industrial chemist and patent attorney Mr. Johannes Van den Bogaert.  He has been kind enough to do a write up for this site regarding the catalyst reported to be used in some cold fusion devices, including the e-Cat of Andrea Rossi. (E-CatSite; September 14, 2012)
      • Rossi on the Safety of COP 6 - In reviewing the video of the Rossi Q & A session at Zurich I found one of the exchanges very interesting, and it helps to understand better why Rossi has been so careful in controlling his E-Cat reactors. Someone asked him a question about why, since there were early reports of Rossi able to run his reactor with a... (E-CatWorld; September 19, 2012)
      • New Interview with Aldo Proia, E-Cat Licensee - The International Business Times has published a new interview with Aldo Proia, CEO of Prometeon srl, Italian Licensee for the E-Cat. Prioa covers much of the same ground that he has discussed in previous interviews, but there are some interesting points worth mentioning. When asked whether he is sure of the E-Cat's validity, he... (E-CatWorld; September 16, 2012)
      • Safety Certificate
        • 1MW E-Cat Safety Certificate Is Public - The e-cat has reached quite an important milestone in being ready for a full market release, as Andrea Rossi has just released the safety certificate granted by SGS for his 1MW e-cat device…. (ECatReport; September 14, 2012) (And
        • What People Say About The Safety Certificate Of 1 MW E-cat - Italian inventor Andrea Rossi made the safety certificate of the 1-megawatt e-cat available to the public. Granted by SGS Italy, the safety certificate is entitled Voluntary Certificate of Compliance With Safety of Directive 2006/42/EC (Annex 1... (ECatReport; September 15, 2012)
      • E-Cat Conference Reports
        • Video of Zurich Conference Q & A - Many thanks to Sterling Allan of PESN for making available video of the Zurich E-Cat conference. The quality of sound and picture is much better than was available on the live feed. The video below of a Question & Answer session with Andrea Rossi and Fulvio Fabiani (Leonardo engineer) cuts out some of the... (E-CatWorld; September 18, 2012)
      • E-Cat Rossi: new device launch by early 2013 - After the meeting in Zurich last weekend, there are more updates on the front E-Cat, ingenious device, developed by the pair of Italian scientists Andrea Rossi and Sergio Focardi, which is based on the concept of cold fusion to generate a large amounts of energy without the harmful side effect of the production of slag. (dottortecnologia; September 15, 2012)
      • Believers in the original Italian - THE PARK hoaxes - During the holidays away from internet granted to the guardian slaver Today direttora of Science, came out a lot of information on cold fusion nuclear reactor engineer. Dr.. Andrea Rossi. Summary.  (oggiscienza; September 17, 2012)
      • Ecat Test Failure Leads to stop $10 Million Investment - The failure of Andrea Rossi's ecat low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) device to perform to specifications has led to the stop of a big LENR investment yet. The Swedish magazine NyTeknik reported that an unidentified group of Swedish investors was prepared to invest up to 65 million SEK (which is around $10 million US dollars) in the Northern European ecat licensee Hydro Fusion (update: we changed from EUR to SEK also if no currency was specified on the NyTeknik website). (EnergyCatalyzer3; September 8, 2012) (And energycatalyzer3) (And
      • Rossi: The Hot Cat is Still in R&D, Not Open for Investments Yet - "Italian inventor Andrea Rossi admitted that he has been receiving various questions from many people who have been following the e-cat story. One of the questions being asked is this: "Is it possible to invest in the Hot Cat?" Rossi made a straightforward answer:"No, it is not. Because the reactor for high temperatures is not ready, is not as product, is a prototype subject to research and development and I want not to put anybody at risk before the Hot Cat is not yet a product." (AndreaRossiECat; Sept. 14, 2012)

In defining the weak force, Niebauer states: Of the four fundamental forces (gravity,... (E-CatWorld; September 17, 2012)
    • Prof. George Miley: CF/LANR Patent - "George Miley has been granted a patent on LENR-related technology. I'm not sure of the full implications of this patent, but it would seem to be good news for Dr. Miley and the LENR/CF fields. It seems that Dr. Miley's patent mentions a range of possible applications of the technology, and this may be part of the way he was able to get it through the USPTO.". The answer to this question is possibly the widespread utilization of LENR might increase demand for some materials. (ColdFusion3; )
    • Best LENR Investments or at Least Companies to Watch - Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) or cold fusion isn't a safe enough investment to put your retirement money in yet. On the other hand it could be a good risky or speculative investment for those with a social conscious and a lot of extra money to spend. (ColdFusion3; )

NOTE: NOTE: We have replaced the previous Echo comment service with Disqus. The old Echo database of comments has now been imported into Disqus. The old comments are loaded in date received order. This will mean that if say, someone posted a reply a week after a comment was posted, then it will appear before the original post does (in other words jumbling up will occur in the normal Parent/Child pattern of replies) and comments will not follow a logical order. However, comments you have made/make in Disqus since the changeover date will appear in the normal order of appearance.

All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
