I Cheated Death Last Night in LA
As I was driving on Interstate 405 last night during rush hour, my
blood sugar got so low that I ended up driving into the left guard rail, then
bouncing over to the right, where my rental car jumped up on top of the rail,
coming to a stop because of a fence. What if it had happened sooner, later,

Not my accident, but this is kind of what I
picture it being like for cars coming up on it, except my car was up on
the guard rail and was on the right; and there were at least three
emergency vehicles. I called the Highway Patrol to see if they have a
photo, but they said they don't usually take photos. That seems kind of
strange, given how important such a scene is for insurance adjustments and

I had an accident driving freeway speed southbound on Interstate 405 in California
last night just past 7 pm during rush hour, just north of The Getty center north of Santa Monica that could have been fatal for me and others. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
For what it's worth, this was the eight very unusual, rare event that happened in a ~48-hour period with the group I had been visiting (confidential technology, self-looped with
4.5x extra energy to use). Those incidents included:
- Three days ago, the main technician had an accident in which the airbag
deployed and took out several of his top, front teeth.
- The first investor, who was there as well, whose car has had no problems
whatsoever, stopped working the morning of the first of two days of the
- Early in the first day, the system had a flashback that damaged one of the
key components, which took a day to repair.
- The toggle function on the breaker switch on the main output generator
stopped working, so we had to go get a replacement.
- After four years of using it, one of the four fields in the main output
generator stopped working (open). The generator still worked, but impaired.
(They were still able to achieve a demonstration of several times more
energy out than in -- 10 kW according to the two clamp-on amp meters going
to two heater loads.)
- One of the independent validation technicians' sophisticated meters was
having problems. It took several hours for the technician to track
down what needed to be done to reset things. That meter was
used to measure the input power of around 500 Watts (there was one other
electrical input of 300 Watts, and a gaseous catalyst that needs to be
calculated as part of the input energy).
I had commented to some of the people in the group that I'm not surprised at
this odd line-up of very unusual incidences. Here was my line of reasoning:
For a couple of years, as I asked myself the question of: "After so
many years of so many exotic free energy technologies being perpetually five
months from market, when are we ever going to actually see one arrive,"
it dawned on me that "We get the energy and government we deserve, and
right now we deserve the tyranny we're getting due to society having sown
"He who sins is the servant of sin," is as true of individuals
as it is of nations and civilizations. Free Energy is all about freedom, and
right now we don't deserve that level of freedom. Some kind of spiritual
awaking is needed so that these free energy technologies can emerge.
One way of looking at this uncanny line-up of problems could be to see them
as "testing the metal" of the people involved. Another way of
looking at them, and probably a second, synergistic reason,
is that this could be the angels' way of slowing things down a little.
They're not saying: "Stop," they're saying, "Don't go too
fast." If everything fell into place, with no such obstacles, this
technology could arrive in the market in a couple of months. These kinds of
obstacles tend to slow things down.

details; just broad overviews, and a video.)
Take my accident, for example. With different timing of when and how I went off the road, it could have been fatal for me, and possibly others on the roadway with me. As it was, I was completely uninjured, without a strain, scratch, or
bruise. The rental car isn't in very good shape, though. I'm surprised the airbag didn't
deploy. My insurance will cover all but the $250 deductable.
But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let me tell you what happened.
After we wrapped up yesterday, with the main reason I went to the LA area, I planned to go visit Jack Aganyan of Solar Hydrogen Trends (not a Solar technology). In this last-minute, on-the-side visit, he was going to demonstrate his "electro hydraulic shock
effect", involving cavitation bubbles. [See our June 30 Pistol Shrimp
I never made it.
I stopped by Taco Bell to pick up some dinner. I had a Sobe beverage in the car with me that I had purchased previously. When I checked my blood, I was a bit low, so I took my Sobe beverage to bring me back up in a short period. Normally, the Novalin insulin I inject with meals for my Type 1 diabetes takes 30 minutes to kick in, but based on what unfolded, it seems the Novalin went to my blood (hit a small vein instead of interstitial fluid for gradual release), so my blood sugar began to drop much more rapidly. Also, I'm guessing that the beverage was probably sugar-free, so it has no
glucose-convertible content and didn't do any good. I was also carefully eating my dinner. So from a "usual" point of view, I thought the fact that I was a little low wouldn't be a problem.
However, the insulin took effect more rapidly than the food I was eating (I don't think that has ever happened before), and the beverage I drank.
What happens is that as the blood sugar drops, your ability to think clearly is increasingly impaired, and you don't think rationally, like "I should get off the road." Actually, I did have that thought, but in the rental car I was driving, the blind spot is really hard to see, and that realization was
signaling me to stay where I was and just hope the food and drink would kick in. Not long after that, I was seeing double, and I knew I needed to get off the road.
According to a motorcycle (conveyed to the tow truck driver who drove me to the tow yard), I bounced off the left cement guard railing (damaging the left, back door); then bouncing into and over the right cement guard railing, actually catching some air before coming to rest on top of the railing, stopped by a fence from tipping over into an
adjoining road. A tow truck saw the incident and called back to one of his associates, Barry, who stopped, along with the motorcyclist, who had seen things unfold, and had stopped as well. Barry told me that the traffic through there was going regular speed (limit 65 there) at the time. The motorcyclist went back to the curve behind to warn oncoming traffic to slow down, because it was kind of a blind turn.
As far as I was concerned, I was glad to finally be off the road. I was just pulled off the side of the road and could wait for my blood sugar to come back up. I remember the jolts, but
didn't know what they were from.
Pretty soon, as I looked out my window, I saw a bunch of emergency personnel and flashing lights. I wondered, "What are they doing? Why are they looking at me? I'm just resting here on the side of the road."
Barry told me that when he came to my car and saw that I was essentially non-responsive, he thought I might have had a heart attack, so he called the paramedics.
And at first, when he saw my car on the side of the road, he thought it was on fire, but it turned out to be the way the light were moving on something in front of the car (I have no recollection). I guess that's why he called for a fire truck to respond.
Finally, an officer came to my window and tapped on the window. I vaguely remember rolling it down and responding to his questions, informing him about my blood sugar being low. After what seemed like a few minutes, they talked me into going to the back of an ambulance. "We won't transport you if you don't want to," they promised. So I got on their wheel chair thing that turned into a gurney, and rolled me into the ambulance.
The paramedic handed me a small tube of glucose gel to take, but true to my typical form when low, I was in denial about being low, and I responded that I would just eat the bean burrito I had in my hand (which I took from the car). He said,
"No, that's not going to be fast enough. We need to get off the road. It's not safe here." So I obliged and
ate the glucose. I think the first time they checked my blood it was 26 (normal is 80-120).
I was gradually becoming more coherent. But even when I was back sitting in my car, I was able to give them my address. The paramedic said I sounded like I was drunk (which is how diabetics sound when they are low and trying to talk).
When I was almost high enough for them to release me, they let me go outside the ambulance to walk around and talk to the officer, who gave me the tow truck's business card.
The officer told me I may have also bumped slightly into a couple of other cars. The police office will be contacting me in the next couple of days to give me a full report. He didn't issue a citation.
I could see that there were only about four of the ~seven lanes open and that traffic was backed up because of my incident. As we stood there, a paramedic took my blood sugar reading again and it was exactly 80, so they could now let me go.
I felt really bad that all these emergency people had to show up and that traffic had to be impaired. I would guess that there
were 12-15 emergency personnel at the scene.
Gratefully, there were no injuries. I'm totally fine.
The accident was cleared in what I would guess would be about 30 minutes.
I got a ride with the tow truck driver to where they were going to store the car.
He was able to drive the car from the tow truck into the lot, but there was enough damage to the vehicle that it was not street-worthy. The tow truck driver, in his report, on the automobile diagram, had
written squiggly marks all around the vehicle, which I would guess will come back as "totaled" from the insurance adjuster. And here I had thought I had just pulled off the side of the road.
I had decided to just go to the airport, so I wouldn't have to bother anyone for a 1:40 hour drive to my hotel then back to the airport in the morning; and I would just have the hotel collect my clothes and toiletries into my suit case and have one of the associates from the company I was visiting hang onto until the next time I come, whenever that is.
Barry ended up giving me a ride to the airport, where I spent the night in a relatively quiet hall upstairs from the main entry at Long
Beach, though it was a bit of a fitful sleep, as I realized how close I came to
demise, and of possibly injuring others.
Moral to the Story
For me, personally, this is a major wake-up call to not try and drive with any impairment in my blood sugar level at all, but I should always wait until it is above 80, even though I'm essentially totally functional at 40.
I told the officer that in my opinion, legally, they should make penalties for situations like this similar to a DUI, because lives are put in jeopardy, though the adjudication would need to take into account all the medical parameters regarding culpability.
Spiritually, as I thought about possible parallels to what happened to me and where the planet is right now, I couldn't help but wonder if this accident is a sort of metaphor for an awakening that could come to the world without the full tribulation pain, but with plenty of shake-up, to get people to come to their senses. For me, this accident was pain-free, but certainly not for the rental car. It's getting my attention on a number of levels.
As those of you who follow my news regularly know, I've got this paradigm that Isaiah 66 describes a nation being born at once, and the earth in a day; and it describes a woman bringing forth a man child (kingdom of God) before she goes into pain and tribulation; and as I see the wording, verse five describes the event that brings this about -- the appearance of the Lord to an outcast. That is not going to be the average appearance that so many have had through the years (dreams, visions, near death experiences); but will be something that the world notices and wakes up as a result; and because they wake up and turn to God, the destructions and captivity to which they were headed are turned away.
So, superimposing last night's scenario as a metaphor for this paradigm, perhaps it is pointing to not just an appearance of the Lord to the outcast, but also some kind of situation in the world that has the effect of getting people's attention without pain or death, but which rattles them a bit.
Something to think about.
Whatever the case, I see the hand of divinity in protecting me and others from
harm. I don't think anyone would argue that I should have been hurt, given what
happened, and what could have happened, any other place on the road, any other
time in last night's sequence of events. It's almost as if I was caught by a
catcher's mitt. That's why I can't help but wonder what kind of broader lessons
might be here, to walk away with, as I walked away from that accident. One thing
is really clear to me. It's not my time to go. If it had been, that would have
been a perfect time to take me.
