Concluding what has become Part I: Magnacoaster Update: Six units out the door, ramping up production, as I said: "I think we're ready to go. Anything else you want to add?", Rasa then gave me a link to this video he produced, saying: "This video gives a broad overview" of the Zero Point Institute (ZPI).

The video begins by describing ten different energy generator technologies with which ZPI are involved, five of which are conventional and five of which are unconventional.

He says that ZPI has sourced inexpensive solar panels in India ($0.50/watt), China ($0.50/watt), and U.S. ($0.75/watt).

He also says that they have designed a new vertical axis windmill that will allow you to gain much more energy from the wind. He also announced that they will be releasing do-it-yourself kits. "Windmills are extremely cheap to build."

They also provide "hydroelecric" instruction based on some new designs, so you can effectively harness energy from moving water, whatever type: river, stream, ocean waves. I asked him about this, and he said:

"What we are developing is called a 'windless windmill' or a 'waterless waterwheel'. In other words, it is a momentum generator with either a windmill or a water wheel attached to it. The windmill will sit there and continue spinning inside your home where there is no wind, and continue to produce a small amount of electricity. But once you take it outside, and the wind actually begins to add its force, then it will produce way more electricity than a normal windmill."

I asked him: "So in and of itself, it is a free energy device (harnessing the wheelwork of nature), but it is augmented by additional power input from other natural sources: wind, water?"

He responded:

"Correct. It takes advantage of the capacitive resonance of the engine and back EMF spikes from all 3 phases. I am just testing out the back EMF harvesting circuit now, and soon will be able to open source the whole thing."

If you have hot springs on your property, their thermalelectric resources might be of interest to you. Their TEG (thermal-electric generator) is a design similar to solar panels, based on PN junctions, but can be much more size-efficient, with better pricing as well. By creating a Fresnel lens, you could creating a solar heat source for this TEG.

Regarding his mention of a Stirling engine for harvesting environmental heat, I asked: "How much effort have you put into sourcing a good Stirling engine? Andrea Rossi is trying to find a good match for his E-Cat."

He responded: "Not much effort on that side yet. As of now, I am primarily focused on the windmill and a few of the new types of energy storage devices."

They are also involved in biomass gassification technology.

Except for the wind and hydro generator that employs back-EMF harvesting, the above five technologies are fairly conventional. The last five are more exotic.

Their "Neutrino Collector", based on Hutchison's Power Crystals. These work similar to the TEG and solar panels. "Basically, you have a PN junction semi-conductor by growing crystals and adding doping agents to these crystals to creating a junction which allows these sub-atomic particles to create [usable] energy." By Skype, he added:

"My theory is that the Hutchison Power Crystal works by collecting neutrinos (since supposedly it works day and night, regardless of the temp); but again, it is not a project I have put much effort into, because the amount of energy one gains from such a system is very small, compared to other projects we are working on. It is more of a scientific curiosity. It could be a combination of all 3 (photons, phonons, and neutrinos).

"I have heard other scientists speak about neutrino collectors, so it is just a way I classify things:

  • if it works when only sun is there -> it is collecting photons
  • if there is a change in temp -> it is collecting phonons
  • if there is no light or heat -> then it might be collecting neutrinos
  • if it works in the city but not the forest -> it may be collecting electrosmog

"Of course, in reality there may be several things going on at once."

Their "Electrosmog" technology harvests usable power from ambient wi-fi, power-line vicinity, and other electromagnetic radiation.

When I said I didn't see anything on his site about Electrosmog and Neutrino Collector, he replied:

"Right. Webpages are not my specialty. I just threw it up quickly and have left it alone. I will be updating the webpage as we move more from the realm of "future projects" in to the realm of "technologies currently being offered".

http://phys.org/news/2013-02-german-student-electromagnetic-harvester-recharge.html

"Electrosmog harvesting is really nothing new. You just need to tune your circuit to either 50 Hz or 60Hz, depending where you live."

Later in our conversation, he added:

"As soon as I finish my back EMF harvesting circuit for the momentum generator, I will launch a Kickstarter page and then make a complete overhaul of the Zero Point Institute site, making clear what products we can supply already, and what are future projects."

So for now, people just contact Rasa directly to place their orders. "For now, I just use Skype, Facebook, or Hotmail." Rasa's contact info can be found on our feature page about Rasa's Zero Point Institute.

Their "Earth Battery" technology entails putting two copper rods in the ground to generate current, "since the Earth is a giant magnet.".

Regarding a solid state TMR Effect generator, he said:

"You have an electromagnet and a permanent magnet, and by extending pulses into the permanent magnet, you create a quantum tunneling effect inside the atoms of the magnet. And this quantum tunneling effect can actually be recaptured as a source of energy through the Tunneling Magnetoresistance Effect.

"A similar device, known as TMJ, there is a tunnelmagnetic junction, but this technology is being used for computer memory, and not for the production of energy.

"Quantum tunneling is not a new thing, as the Scanning Tunneling Microscope is used in many hospitals."

This is the subject of Part III: The TMR Effect -- Tunnel MagnetoResistance -- A New Source of Clean Energy.

Rasa Viharii demonstrates the Momentum generator at time stamp 7:45 in his ZPI overview video.

Their Momentum generator involves a 3-phase AC motor that is plugged into a single-phase inverter.

"The way it works is: I have several capacitors that are tuned to resonate with the motor. [Simplistically speaking...] Inside the motor is a permanent magnet, and electromagnet, and the gap between them is what causes the capacitance effect. So the 'capacitor'[s] of the motor are tuned to the capacitor bank. Now, if you have a spinning object, as we know, according to the laws of momentum, it takes more energy to get that thing spinning than it does to keep it in motion; and that gap [difference] can be utilized to pull extra energy from such a motor. The excess energy is being harvested from the back EMF. So first of all, you have a single phase running a 3-phase, and those three phases can be harvested as back EMF."

Then he demonstrates how this works.

In considering this description, I should note that this may be at the heart of what is going on in the self-looped motor-generator systems (Q-Mo-Gen). And Chuck Pierce's patent that calls for a flywheel to maintain the stability of rotation may be one of the keys to make these systems work optimally.

To that, Rasa replied:

"For sure.  The more flywheels and weight you attach to such a device, the more free energy you will get. It was the TsingHua University in Beijing that bought out Chas Campbell and several other interesting devices. They also bought out the device from Hungary (Gamma EMB).

"However, by utilizing the capacitive discharge effect, the real fun stuff begins. In a few days, I will open source a new video about using capacitive discharge for a windmill. Normally,  when you connect a windmill charge controller to a battery that needs to be charged, the windmill will slow down.... but if you just charge a capacitor which dumps into the battery via a Schmitt trigger.... then you can charge that battery and the windmill will never slow down."

Then he said:

"One last note regarding Magnacoaster which we spoke earlier... Once I get the new "production line model" [from them], I would like to bring it to one of the Breakthrough Energy Conferences.  I was invited several times to go, but was always putting it off, because I would rather speak about a device while the device is there in front of me."

I retorted that if he didn't have a working device to demo, then he would be like 80-90% of us other speakers about exotic free energy technologies at the conference; and I mentioned that I was born and raised in Boulder, where the October 10-12 conference will be held. He replied:

"I am also living at an Eco Village up in Golden Gate Canyon State park [near Boulder]. It is not really my home; I just travel there a lot for vacations and helping them build the acid recycling machines.

"That is where we build our giant electrodialysis machines for industrial metallic acid purification. One large chrome plating company bought one of our machines and they said their electric bills went down one million dollars per year. That also does not include the money they saved on not having to buy new acid, and not having to pay to have the contaminated acid disposed of.

"We have sold several machines to several companies. The machine works for chrome plating, anodizing, galvenizing, and gold, silver, platinum recovery.

"Here is the video for the acid recycling machine."

I gave Rasa a link to the feature page I'm creating about Chuck's Regen, saying: "Could you use a flywheel like he is, to get the momentum effect increased?"

Rasa replied:

"Interesting. He is using a separate starter motor to bring it up to speed, whereas I am just using extra capacitors.

"In my momentum generator, the rotor inside the motor is acting as a flywheel, so there are several ways you can go to gain extra energy: by adding more and more flywheels, by adding more and more capacitors, or by attaching it to a windmill, etc."

Next, in the overview video, Rasa talks about "7 Ways to Store Energy", these also being modalities ZPI is involved with.

  • Lead Acid Battery Desulfation for rejuvenation of seemingly dead batteries by removing the sulfur from the lead plates. By Skype, Rasa explained: "I have been testing various ones which are already on the market. Of course, I have made my own joule ringer battery desulfator, but it is not a smart charger. It will over charge the battery if you are not careful."
  • Lithium - ZPI provides lithium cells for $1.60
  • Nickel Iron batteries, invented by Thomas Edison. Some of earliest electric cars are still running on these batteries, showing how much longer they last. These batteries could replace the lead acid battery market.
  • Magnesium Antimony batteries. These batteries could replace the Lithium battery market because they last much longer. There is no acid inside it. "At ZPI, we have discovered a new way of manufacturing these batteries with a 3D printer. This will not only reduce the price, but it will also increase their storage capacity. Magnesium is usually a more difficult metal to deal with," but that goes away with the 3D printer technology.
  • Super Capacitors. "We are developing new ways of manufacturing [these], to bring down their cost."
  • Hydrogen is great for starting large amounts of energy, such as in a solar farm.
    • That's where the Vanadium Fuel Cell comes into play, mentioned above. "With the Vanadium membrane, allowing hydroxide to pass through, we can now use much cheaper types of anodes and cathodes, [in lieu of expensive] palladium cathodes."
    • Plutonium Polymer Fuel Cell. Plutonium is usually radioactive, but when it is made into a polymer, it becomes safe. "Isn't it better to use Plutonium for making energy than for nuclear bombs?"
    • Hydrogen Turbine Generator. Easily converted from natural gas generators used in industrial applications, often sitting around unused. They can produce a lot of heat, which can be converted to electricity through the thermal electric generators.
  • Thermal Battery, invented by one of Rasa's friends, stores the energy in the thermal nature of the atoms themselves. "So one little block of metal can store more energy than huge chemical-bond-based storage mechanisms." He said they are developing this technology and hope to bring it to market soon.

Next, Rasa talks about "4 Types of Transportation" that ZPI is involved with.

  • Gas to Electric vehicle conversion. They plan to start many of these shops in many countries around the world.
  • Gas to Hydrogen vehicle conversion. This involves use of a hydride form of hydrogen that stores it in a safe way. And as for converting the engine to run on hydrogen, this involves 1) a sensor to know where the timing of the engine is; 2) electronic spark control; 3) electronic injection control. They are developing a circuit to control the injection of hydrogen and the timing of the spark; so it will be very simple to convert a gas engine to run on hydrogen.
  • Biodiesel Production (Jatropha oil / Hemp seed oil). ZPI is involved in Jatropha and Hemp plantations.
  • Hydrogen / Biodiesel hybrid conversions (80% Hydrogen / 20% Biodiesel). You need at least 20% biodiesel for lubrication in the engine.

Finally, Rasa talked about "3 Energy Saving Technologies".

  • LED. ZPI seeks to help provide sourcing for the best, most affordable LED lighting solutions.
  • Resonance Circuits. Rasa draws an analogy to the resonant circuit in a compact fluorescent light bulb (which he doesn't promote because of the mercury), and shows a larger toroid made out of Metglass, a very efficient material that is available fairly inexpensively. Nanotech also holds promise for these kinds of applications because "it allows you to align the atoms so they will resonate so you can actually capture that same quantum tunneling effect, which will not just allow you to save energy, but will produce excess energy." They can be used for cooking, refrigeration, heating, air conditioning, and hydrogen production.
  • Electrodialysis for Industrial Waste Recycling. Mentioned above.

I don't know about you, but as I watch Rasa giving these explanations about all these amazing technologies, I think: "He should be running a fully-staffed laboratory and commercial facility. Any one of these technologies could have a huge impact on the global market and mitigate our economic downturn and polluting energy dependence." They seem to be doing pretty well as it is, but they certainly could use more manpower and more resources.

Apparently, his time at the feet of Indian gurus has paid off. It reminds me of my dialogue with Patrick Flanagan, who says he remembers his life as Nicola Tesla, and said that his previous ~7 lifetimes prior to that were as Buddhist monks, learning how to get revelation/inspiration.

As perhaps a sad commentary on our society and its inability to recognize a good thing, as of the time of this writing, this video by zeropointinstitute posted four days ago on July 30, chock full of solutions for humanity, has only received 62 views, when it should be going viral.

Again, Rasa's contact info can be found on our feature page about Rasa's Zero Point Institute. His email is rasaviharii@hotmail.com, and his Skype username is the same as in his email address. On August 10, 2013, Rasa said: "My only reply to people who want to ask me about what I have and when will I be revealing how to build etc. is....: "Just stay tuned to my youtube channel... Eventually all things will be revealed.""

That concludes the "Introduction" to what is now: Part III: The TMR Effect -- Tunnel MagnetoResistance -- A New Source of Clean Energy
