  • LENR Companies
    • Rossi, Leonardo Corp - E-Cat
      • Encouraged - I have very recently come across a bit of news from someone whom I consider trustworthy who has knowledge of developments surrounding the upcoming E-Cat test and report which gives an encouraging picture. If the plan that I have learned about is fulfilled, when the report comes out it could be quite convincing to... (E-CatWorld; July 11, 2012)
      • What is Happening at the University of Bologna? - One of the currently interesting questions surrounding the E-Cat is what is going on at the University of Bologna in connection with it. There have been a few clues dropped recently which make the subject all the more intriguing. First a little background. Andrea Rossi had said last year that he was going to be hiring the University to... (E-CatWorld; July 6, 2012)
      • Rossi: Third Parties Will Validate High Temperature E-Cats - Many people have been wondering about how the upcoming tests on the high temperature E-Cats are being performed, and now Andrea Rossi has stated in unambiguous language that an outside entity is carrying out the tests. On the Journal of Nuclear Physics today, Bernie Koppenhofer asked: There has been a lot of speculation on this site and other LENR...(E-CatWorld; July 5, 2012)
      • Status Report for the Rossi E-Cat Reactors - The saga of the cold fusion energy reactors continues with our heroes, the researchers, battling the coulomb barrier, COP performance, bureaucratic barriers and pseudo-Skeptic criticisms. Who will triumph? (RossiFocardiFusion; July 9, 2012)
      • The Rossi E-Cat Zooms Ahead of the Higgs Boson - The E-Cat represents a technology with immediate, real-world applications that could allow our civilization to continue. On the other hand, the Higgs Boson represents a possible discovery that has almost no immediate potential to improve our world, and requires billions of dollars in funding. (PESN; July 7, 2012)
      • "Photos Will be Published" - This is very brief, but I thought this would be of interest to readers here. This exchange was just posted on Rossi's Journal of Nuclear Physics: Question: "Please ing. Rossi post some pictures of your twenty 600° reactors at works." Rossi's answer: "Photos will be published along with the report." Photos in and of... (E-CatWorld; July 8, 2012) (And nextme.it and webmasterpoint.org)

      • A Domestic Sized Steam Engine For The E-cat - Andrea Rossi is already manufacturing and selling his industrial-sized E-Cat power units. The high temperature units currently under development promise steam power in large applications. With steam power, you get steam engines, and… (ECatReport; July 11, 2012)
      • E-Cat: Cold Fusion Rossi is environmentally friendly? - E-Cat , waiting for cold fusion Rossi is always more. But many are the doubts rigurdano practical applications of catalysts, especially the E-cat household. While awaiting certification for new emerging security implications, which affect not only the functioning of the E-Cat, but also its environmental sustainability. (GreenMe.it; July 12, 2012)
    • Defkalion - Hyperion
      • Defkalion issues Press Release on Tests, Stremmenos speaks Out - Defkalion Green Technologies has broken its silence with a very brief press release on its low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) testing. The press release took the form of a Microsoft Word document that stated the company is performing analysis on materials using XRF and ICP-MS. (EnergyCatalyzer3; July 9, 2012)
  • General Cold Fusion
    • LENR Powered Electric Vehicles - Zero emission vehicles that cost less, that require less maintenance, that can be driven anytime without the need of an infrastructure (LENR News; July, 2012)
      • LENR Cars Plans EV of the Future - LENR Cars is a site that has recently appeared with the stated goal of "developing a zero emission car, self sustained in terms of energy for at least 40,000 km." The project is headed by entrepreneur and engineer Nicolas Chauvin who is based in Lausanne, Switzerland. The site, which is still 'under construction', explains that the plan is to... (E-CatWorld; July 12, 2012)
    • More LENR Research Going on Than Thought - There seems to be a lot more research into low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) or cold fusion going on than is being reported. It is obvious that many more researchers than are commonly believed are working on this problem. (EnergyCatalyzer3; July 7, 2012)
    • Editorial in Oil Industry Trade Magazine Focuses on LENR Threat - Many thanks to reader Steve Jacobs who sent this comment today ( I just got home and approved it — all comments from first time posters are moderated) "I am from the petroleum industry and LENR is now being watched closely. An article was just published in the July Journal of Petroleum Technology. I... (E-CatWorld; July 7, 2012)
    • A Physicist's Formula - "The circumstances of hot fusion are not the circumstances of cold fusion", wrote Julian Schwinger, co-Nobel-prize winner with Richard Feynmann and Shinichiro Tomonaga in 1965 for their work on quantum electro-dynamics (QED). But there is no shortage of hot fusion (…) (ColdFusionNow; July 12, 2012)
    • Cold Fusion: Progress Report - Your humble writer has been watching for the news out of the International Low Energy Nuclear Reactions Symposium, ILENRS-12 held at The College of William and Mary Sadler Center early last week. • Why LENR will lead to Vast New Fortunes - Low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) which is popularly known as cold fusion could be the catalyst that creates vast new fortunes. The reason it will create vast new fortunes is the very low cost of LENR if it can really generate vast amounts of heat, steam and electricity for a few pennies on the dollar. (EnergyCatalyzer3; July 9, 2012)
    • Why LENR Will Be Embraced - I have noticed that there seems to be a slight uptick in interest in LENR recently — probably due to some of the reports that have been coming out lately from various conferences and publications where the topic is being taken quite seriously by certain people in business and academic circles. SCIENTIFIC BREAKTHROUGHS - Tuesday, July 17th 9p | 12a ET
        Cold Fusion Is Hot Again
A report on cold fusion - nuclear energy like that which powers the sun, but made at room temperatures on a tabletop, which in 1989, was presented as a revolutionary new source of energy that promised to be cheap, limitless and clean but was quickly dismissed as junk science. Today, scientists believe that cold fusion, now most often called low temperature fusion or a nuclear effect, could lead to monumental breakthroughs in energy production.
      • "60 Minutes on CNBC" to Feature Cold Fusion - There's an announcement on the CNBC web site of an upcoming program that will feature cold fusion. NOTE: NOTE: We have replaced the previous Echo comment service with Disqus. The old Echo database of comments has now been imported into Disqus. The old comments are loaded in date received order. This will mean that if say, someone posted a reply a week after a comment was posted, then it will appear before the original post does (in other words jumbling up will occur in the normal Parent/Child pattern of replies) and comments will not follow a logical order. However, comments you have made/make in Disqus since the changeover date will appear in the normal order of appearance.

All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.
