A Visit to Inteligentry
An acquaintance recently visited the Inteligentry lab in Las Vegas.
Though he was not permitted to see a working noble gas engine, he describes his
experience as being above his expectations, though he is proceeding cautiously.
The next training session for licensees will be in 5 weeks, when they will
allegedly be able to take a unit home with them.

I received the following email the other day about someone's recent visit to
Inteligentry,
and received permission to post it anonymously. I also asked John Rohner for an
update, which is included below.
Just by way of correction (on something I said on the SmartScarecrow show a
couple of weeks ago), I should mention that I have no plans or invitation
to visit Inteligentry probably until just before their hoped-for launch of
products available for sale in September.

Hi Sterling,
I thought you might like to know I visited John and Tana and the crew in Vegas on Wednesday the 13th. I fully expected to come away from that encounter shaking my head saying:
"No way; this is crap." I have to say even though he refused to show me a running motor, I came away from the encounter feeling like either this situation has serious merit or this is the most elaborate and best con I have ever seen.
I spent about 4 hours with John all together, asked him every question I could think of, and
while doubts will be there until I see one of these motors run, I had
very few episodes where I seriously doubted what I was being told.
I'm continuing to read everything I can get my hands on, and ran across something I wanted to ask you about. I ran across a forum discussing this. They brought up your name and said, hey, if they want to show this is real, have them do a private demonstration for you and couple of other people to prove it's real.
John says he doesn't want the average person to know it's real because he doesn't want the attention. I can understand his reasoning to a point but that brings me to a question. Have you ever heard of anyone credible ever seeing one of his engines run? Do you have any knowledge at all about the six companies that are supposedly manufacturing engines as we speak, or of the foreign countries that are already licensed?
You mentioned earlier that you would consider pressure to buy to be a red flag. I have to say, never at any time did anyone ask me how much money I was thinking of investing; and at the end of a total of 6 hours at the facility, John's last comment was,
"You have 6 weeks till the next training session for licensee's. Go
home; take your time; and think about what you want to do. He said when I show up for training, that is when I'll see a running engine and take a sample engine home for prototyping adapters to run various things with it.
At this point I think I'm going to do it, but I'm going to keep reading everything I can find on this in the
meantime. |
I responded:
I've never talked to anyone besides John who claims to have seen a working
motor [of Inteligentry's].
I'm not sure that John would go for me seeing it, because the skepticism serves him well right now, keeping the volume of inquiries to a minimal/manageable level.
I would, of course, welcome the opportunity to play such a role.
Nor can I verify the existence of the six companies that are supposedly
presently manufacturing engines, or of the foreign countries that are already
licensed.
John Rohner gave the following response to the above. (Slightly edited.)

Anyone that comes here seeking information gets treated with respect. I do
my best to give them the time and information they need to
"consider" and "discover" the unique engine that our
patent has given -- or soon will -- the world, and some of what it may be
able to do. He was explained the process, shown how the engine was
designed, using modern 3D techniques, and how it is built and even some
"secrets" not published because of ongoing
"Provisional" Patent applications. I am very open and will
discuss nearly anything, even things not within our patent. We also talked
about applications and the upcoming 6 and 12 Cylinder engine designs.
And, Yes, it is my us usual advice to consider what the next step for
them may be without the "used car" tactics. We have very special
stockholders. When we found that the base offer for the patent was $3
million, I presented that at the stockholders meeting, explaining that
everyone could make more that 10x what they had invested and we could
quit. Not one person wished to do that. We are all dedicated to
"getting it into production".
As to the 6 -- maybe 7 by the time you see this --
"Manufacturers" currently getting ready for the next
manufacturers' meeting, and production being released publicly, it serves
no purpose to open them up to pressure. None have given me permission to
"identify" them, publicly, at this time. They like Inteligentry
being the "front" man, and them doing what they need [to do],
freely, to get ready. I have to abide by these wishes. However, if you
wish to know them, personally, then that can be arranged, one is within a
hundred miles, or so, of you. 3 or 4 are just coming thru qualification
and getting started.
Moving from our 2500 sq ft [facility] to our new 10,000 sq ft has
cost us time. We finally get Internet over there today. Hopefully we will
be completely moved by the 25th.
As to new things happening:
I got a lot of questions, from the foreign Masters about how to get [noble
gas] fuel and how to mix it. My answer, In 2 weeks, we will have a fully
computerized gas mixer that will mix all 26 various mixes using the
5 gas bottles. It was designed to be used at the final phase of production,
so it also purges the air from the engine and then mixes the gas and
injects it into the engine -- all automatic.
We also have accepted some research partners in the medical field,
who we have been talking to for a couple years, and will be helping them
use our plasma generation for medical purposes. More on this as it grows
and we get results. But it is a whole new use for the technique we
discovered in our research to get a more efficient engine.
We run an open shop, and we answer questions, but we also know we must
develop the product "backwards". In most Products you
"announce" them and spend the next couple months getting them
"right". We must have that all done before we go public, as the
demand will bury us otherwise. It is frustrating to us also, but the
consequences of not doing this right are failure, as history has shown. So
we are sorry, but we need to be our own control element. The results will
be worth the frustration, even for us.
Enjoy Life

Here are some new photos John sent:

I pulled out my calendar to see when six weeks from June 13 would be.
It's around July 25. The TeslaTech conference in Albuquerque is from July 26-29,
where John's brother, Robert, is scheduled to speak on Friday, July 27 at 2:30
pm. According to the program:
"This presentation is a primer on the operating principles of a form
of the 'gyrokinetic' engine. During the presentation, the parts involved will
be displayed and discussed. A lab test fixture that will demonstrate the power
source will be assembled, fueled, and operated.
"During the process, a hermetically sealed telescoping gas chamber is
filled with a relatively inexpensive, abundant, and harmless charge of inert
gases. These gases are subjected to controlled electronic pulses, radiation
effects, and varying magnetic fields to create a powerful expansion. Removal
and reversal of the fields causes a contraction leaving the gases ready to
cycle again. During this portion of the cycle, electrons are released in
sufficient quantity to provide for the power requirements of the opposing
cylinder.
"Proof will be presented that the cycle is not thermodynamic and seems to
violate these laws. Discussion will be opened regarding where this cyclic
energy release is coming from. The gyrokinetic process has its basis in the
Papp engines operated in the early eighties. To such engines were designed and
built by Tom and Robert Rohner for Papp. Unfortunately, Papp died without
revealing the process. Gyrokinetics is a powerful tool that has been used for
many applications in both fusion and astrophysics. As certain aspects of the
processes involved have yet to be identified, 'gyrokinetic' may not prove to
be the final descriptor."
I'll also be speaking in the closing spot at that conference. John spoke at the conference last year.
With this "licensee training session" occurring in Las Vegas around
the same time, this year the dynamics are getting even more exciting.
Now I can see why John was talking along the lines of upstaging his brother.
That's one sibling rivalry I wouldn't want to get in the middle of. To the
extent that it serves as friendly competition, spurring each to excel, it's
great.
