    • Updated E-Cat Reactor Has Achieved Self-Sustainability - According to latest discussions on the Journal of Nuclear Physics, Rossi himself has confirmed that his high heat unit has achieved self-sustained mode.       • Rossi claims 40 days of continuous operation for a 10 kilowatt Energy Catalyzer at 600 degrees celsius - This test has lasted so far for 960 (nine hundred and sixty) hours, and is planned to last at least 90 days. Continuous operation for 90 days under constant video surveillance and some public viewing generating 10 kilowatts of thermal power and providing over 3 kilowatts of electricity would be pretty conclusive and very, very simple to prove.     • Will The E-Cat Have "Hot Spots"? - Since the temperature may vary, some of the nickel particles will get hotter than others, possibly even to the point of melting, while others may stay too cool until they circulate around to the external heat source.     • Italian Earthquake Does Little To Faze Rossi - Italy was hit just two days ago by yet another earthquake. Earlier this month, 24 people died in earthquakes in northern Italy. On May 29, a 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck in the area north of Bologna. That same part of the country experienced a 6.0 quake just 9 days before, on May 20. (ECatInfo; June 5, 2012)

    • Brillouin has Money to Complete Work - The Brillouin Energy Corporation has apparently found the money that it needs to commercialize its low energy nuclear reaction boiler technology. Sterling D. Allan of LENR-to-Market weekly reported that Brillouin's CEO Robert W. George II told him that the company had received $2 million in financing.     • NASA LaRC Responds to Critic's Inquiry - The administrator of the web site NASA Watch, Keith Cowing, submitted several questions to NASA in order to get further clarification on the LENR research being conducted there.  Mr. Cowing has been a critic of NASA's involvement  in this controversial area of research since the January 12 video featuring Dr. Joseph Zawodny.  He authored two articles, Quack Science: Why Are NASA Glenn and Langley Funding Cold Fusion Research? and Why is NASA Langley Wasting Time on Cold Fusion Research?   after the January video. He authored a third article, Official NASA Langley Cold Fusion Video Now Online , after the latest video by Dr. Joseph Zawodny just a couple of weeks ago.  Needless to say, Mr. Cowing is not in favor of NASA pursuing this line of research. Some are excited that they are looking into the subject, others are concerned that a government agency might be spending tax dollars on unproven science.
