Anniversary Interview with Rossi Slated for January 14, 3pm MST (22:00 GMT)

One year after the press conference in which Andrea Rossi announced his 10 kW cold fusion E-Cat technology, we will be holding a live interview with him, where you'll be able to submit questions in real time.

A year ago, on January 14, most of us heard about Andrea Rossi's cold fusion E-Cat technology for the first time. (Story)

We were enthralled with his claim to have a 10 kW device that would be demonstrated at a press conference in Bologna that day, with a 1 MW device under construction to be unveiled in the Fall -- a deadline he actually met. (Story)

Until Rossi's January 14 cannonball splash arrival on the scene, we thought of cold fusion with the question posed by the 60 Minutes coverage: "could it ever be made to be more useful than boiling a cup of tea?"

10 kW would heat a few homes; so now, suddenly, the bar was raised; and for many of us, watching the Rossi saga has been a major obsession. 

Over a dozen dedicated news sites have risen, and even the mainstream press has paid some attention.

Then a couple of days ago, Rossi did an interview on the Ca$hFlow program, and it occurred to me that we at PESN have never done an interview with Rossi yet, though we've been the primary source of covering his developments over the past year. So I decided to invite Rossi to do an anniversary interview, which he cordially accepted.

Gary Hendershot, over at SmartScarecrow, will be hosting the live interview event that I'll be conducting, to allow people to chime in with questions. And you're free to post your questions down below in the comments, which update in real time. During the interview, Hank and I will be watching the comments here, and Gary will be watching the comments on his venue.

The interview will be recorded and made available later on YouTube as well, if you're not able to listen in live.

We chose 3:00 pm Mountain time to take in a wide range of time zones during waking hours, from Europe to Japan. We're aiming for about an hour, though we have the leeway to go longer or shorter if we want.
