  • Rossi: National Instruments Helping E-Cat Plant Become a "Magnificence" - Andrea Rossi yesterday expressed his pleasure about his collaboration with National Instruments, the Texas-based company who is providing the instrumentation for the E-Cats being manufactured by Rossi's Leonardo Corporation.     • Are National Instruments Conducive For More Customers To Buy E-Cat Product? - Perhaps, National Instruments is the organization that at this point can do the job of providing credibility for Rossi's Catalyzers. And perhaps that's exactly what they are seen as by quite some – NI is more like a vouchsafe for the reality of Rossi's technology. (BuyECat; December 26, 2011)
  • Rossi's Goal For 2012: 1 Million Units, Kill Competition - Writing after midnight on Christmas Eve, Andrea Rossi made an interesting comment regarding the current and future state of E-Cat technology. Since the October 28th demonstration, there has been little public activity from Leonardo Corporation, and understandably people are curious about what he has been up to.     "In this period we did not talk too much and we did not give substantial news, but we worked tremendously on the business side and now I can say we have the Partners who will allow us to produce sooner than expected the 10 kW E-Cats at a price that will kill the Copy-Cats of the competitors. The first generation will produce heat, and will be able to be retrofitted to produce also electricity when we will be ready for it. "I hope within 2012. We must have a production of 1 million pieces immediately, to put the price at a level to reach these strategic targets: "1- allow everybody to buy it "2- kill the competition"

    • E-Cat Production Goals for 2012 - There has been plenty of new and exciting information coming up from Andrea Rossi through The Journal of Nuclear Physics. First, the ultimate E-Cat goal for was made public by Italian inventor Andrea Rossi, just after midnight, on Christmas Eve. His interesting comment discusses the present state of the device, as well as future plans for the ECat technology. (ECatReport; December 28, 2011)
    • Rossi Shares Some Important E-Cat Info Concerning 2012 - on December 24^th he announced that he was planning to unveil home units in the following year and begin with 1,000,000 pieces immediately. The 1 million announced will take care of two items simultaneously – it will "kill the competition" and "allow everybody to buy it." (ECatInfo; December 28, 2011)
    • STERLING'S COMMENT: I don't agree with the sentiment to "kill competition". I don't think anyone in the free energy sector will need to worry about "competition" for many years, as it will take a long time before market penetration is achieved. 1000 companies making thousands, or even some of them making millions of units, would not have a problem finding customers and applications in enough time to make a return on their capital investment.
  • Rossi: Titanic Step For eCat Production - Today, Andrea Rossi talks about a titanic step forward, crediting a lucky idea and the capability of his new partner for allowing fast scaling of volume and a consequential low price that will kill competition.   • More "Helpful" E-Mails from the DOE A friend of mine sent an e-mail regarding Andrea Rossi to the United States Secretary of Energy, Steven Chu, in late October. Of course Secretary Chu did not respond but a couple of his underlings did. Some of the responses are what one would expect from the Department of Energy but some were a little surprising.     • DOE eCat Stance Two Months Apart - In September of this year, the assistant to Al Opdenaker of the DOE answered an email enquiry on the dept.'s LENR stance. The response was not encouraging and Ruby Carat at Cold Fusion Now covered the exchange (and followed it with their own letter and reply). … He is effectively saying that Rossi is right in his approach and that by the time the lumbering giant swung into action, people will be buying the systems if they work so watch and wait.     • Opdenaker Speaks About Rossi Energy Catalyzer - Albert Opdenaker of the US Department of Energy issued a statement about Andrea Rossi Energy Catalyzer. His stance about this particular Low Energy Nuclear Reaction device is positive and encouraging. But Opdenaker emphasized the fact that his statement is not the official stand of the US Department of Energy on the matter.
