The Wild Wild West of Free Energy Innovation
We've been criticized for being wrong about certain technologies that
looked promising in the past and turned out to be bogus, fraudulent, or not
nearly as excellent as projected. If you want sanitized (usually
propagandized) news, our service is not for you. The bleeding edge is a
hazardous place to hang out.

Periodically, we get criticized something to the effect:
"I have defended you and Stefan on numerous blogs calling you guys Princes among the Pigs. On blog said you two were actually tools of the MIB. I laughed at those folks. Now I'm not so sure. The
Freddy story turns out to be BS. The
PlasmaERG motor looks to be, if not a scam, pretty close. What's next, Andrea Rossi's
E-Cat is a
LIE? You reported these items as FACTS, so either you are "one of them" or you have been played as a fool, something I do not believe you are. Give me a good reason to ever listen to what you say again!! I do hope I am wrong about you."
I understand your frustration.
Remember, we're also operating out of a very limited budget. We don't have the resources to go fly in and personally check out each one of these key claims, so we are limited by what information we have available. With a fraction of the financial resources of one of the high trafficked technology sites on the net, we could do much, much more. Right now, we are simply trying to keep a roof over our heads, and our families fed.
The reason you even hear about these things is because we're willing to cover things long before others will even touch them. To us, our reputation among men is not as important as getting news out on things that could revolutionize the planet. Per the statement on the bottom of our sites: "He who is one step ahead is a genius; he who is two steps ahead is a crackpot;" we don't mind being called "crackpots." If anything, we know we're on track in pursuing the extreme breakthroughs as long as people happening on our site leave comments about how crazy we are.
That's why it's called the bleeding edge. It's banged up territory. It's the Wild Wild West of innovation. The Wild West in America was where brave pioneers tamed a daunting wilderness, facing threats of Indian raids, rattlesnakes, bad weather on new crops, criminals, crooked bankers, drunkenness. Civilization had not yet arrived, so people were largely on their own to face all these challenges.
Thus the "Wild, Wild West" makes a good metaphor for the extreme breakthrough clean energy technologies. "Civilization", represented by codified science, polished businessmen, big money, etc., shies away from these maverick technologies; so on top of facing the challenges and dangers inherent to introducing radically new technologies, they are left more exposed to the dangers of vulture capitalists, competing interests who can get quite nasty in their tactics (just look at the Boyce/Potchen
imbroglio), suppression attempts by the vested interests who think the territory belongs to them. And with limited funds, most everyone is in survival mode, which puts emotions on edge as well.
We cover the exotic technologies that others might prematurely dismiss. Of course this is taking a risk it's just as possible to fall face first into the latrine as it is to strike gold. But finding one large gold nugget could be enough to change the world, and would make up for having to rake the manure out of the horse stall so many times.
If you want sanitized news (and propagandized news) you can stick with CNN. Feel free to watch one of the major news networks for twenty four hours strait, and count how many exotic energy technologies they mention. Most likely the final total will be zero, except for a few irrelevant reports about improvements in conventional solar or wind power. They don't cover the technological possibilities that if validated could completely end the energy crisis, like we do.
Who was it that blew the whistle on certain things regarding Freddy and Rohner and Rossi? We did, when we learned things that our readers needed to know. When we find legitimate (not just well know pseudo-skeptics shouting from the roof top) evidence that someone is exaggerating, misleading individuals, or lying we report about it. We have a track record for this, and will continue doing exposing such misdeads. Those that are guilty of dishonesty or fraud in the most severe cases tarnish the entire exotic energy community. They make legitimate free energy breakthroughs more difficult for people to accept, which is what the powers that be and career pseudo-skeptics desire.
I don't think the gig is up for any of these three either.
Freddy exaggerates, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have something. The fact is that hydroxy gas can (to different extents in different vehicles) improve fuel efficiency, improve performance, and reduce emissions. Although his numbers for how many units he has sold is most likely not truthful not one shread of evidence has been provided to back his quote of 20,000 units being sold the units he have sold may very well produce impressive results.
Ditto for Rohner. The PlasmERG technology dates back to the 1960's, and has an established history. Before Rohner ever came onto the scene, Joseph Papp, Jimmy Sabori, and others had built working Noble Gas Engines. Just because Rohner may have exaggerated his progress with the technology, does not mean he has *never* made an engine run, or will not in the future.
I still hold great hope for the Rossi E-Cat and am confident something great will come of that. The recent problems have been largely political. Regardless of what some pseudo skeptics may claim, the recent controversy has no impact on the validity of the technology. Both Defkalion and Rossi are in the process of getting rigorous testing done. They've not shied away from that at all.
Also, for each of these technologies, while the apparent front-runners (e.g. Freddy, Rohner, Rossi), might be having problems, they each represent a genre of alternative energy innovation where a lot of action is taking place, with other groups close behind their apparent lead. And it's possible that others that we don't know about are even ahead, but are staying quiet, letting others take the heat, running out ahead in the public charge.
Our bottom line premise is that there are extreme breakthroughs emerging that appear at first glance to "violate" known laws of physics, but which eventually will be scientifically exonerated, even as they transform the energy landscape with affordable, clean, reliable energy solutions; simultaneously providing an economic boon to a world in economic meltdown, not only empowering the individual away from dependence on a central grid, but empowering people in general against the central planners who have been trying to implode the economy to make us all slaves in their planned police state.
What we are trying to do at PESN, is provide coverage of all the exotic energy claims that may turn out to be extreme breakthroughs. We do not want a fantastic idea or invention to slip through the cracks, because the
"mainstream" considered it to implausible, too unlikely, or the inventor too eccentric. By giving coverage to these extreme technologies, we hope to thwart the plans of the powers that be.
We refuse to see the world suffer from an unnecessary energy crisis.
We refuse to see technological advancement in critical areas such as energy production and exotic propulsion -- go stagnant.
We refuse to continue allowing the powers that be to maintain centralized power over the people, because they control the energy supply. Decentralized and distributed power is the future!
Despite any accusations or remarks made against us, we will continue doing what we have been doing, which is bringing you coverage of what we feel to be potential exotic energy breakthroughs. As has been stated before, if you want news from a source that supports the status-quo, watch one of the major networks. If you want cutting edge news on technologies that could potentially bring about significant change keep reading PESN!
"You are right. If you have not been perfect, at least you had the guts to publish what others won't even touch. Kudos for that. I also hope the guys have something real. I am so frustrated with the world as I believe, like you, that most of our problems are political. I wish our friends would understand that the medical people want income, not cures. The energy suppliers want income, not safe renewable items. And the war machine damn sure doesn't want peace! Keep up the fight, I DO want to believe.
