Defkalion Responds; Ignores Rossi's Accusation

Andrea Rossi, the inventor of the E-Cat (Energy Catalyzer), recently announced that he had canceled the licensing agreement with Defkalion Green Technologies Inc. Now, Defkalion has responded via a statement to Ny Teknik, but avoided addressing Rossi's most critical accusation -- the claim they have not built a working reactor.

The E-Cat (Energy Catalyzer) is very important to our society, civilization, and our species. Anyone who recognizes the technology as a source of safe, cheap, and abundant energy should recognize its immense value. It offers a potential tool for humanity to utilize, in order to overcome the obstacles ahead of us -- the ongoing energy crisis, a growing global population, the scarcity of resources, unforeseeable black swan events, and the global economic recession. With the E-Cat technology, humanity could have a chance to survive beyond our technological infancy, and eventually build a better world. 

However, the development and proliferation of the Energy technology is at risk. Andrea Rossi has posted a press release, detailing the termination of the licensing agreement with Defkalion Green Energy Inc. (Link)  The given reason for this termination was the lack of Defkalion fulfilling the financial portion of the licensing agreement, but another even more damning accusation was made. 

Andrea Rossi has claimed that Defkalion was never given the information to build the reactor core of an Energy Catalyzer, was never given the trade secrets (most likely the identity of the catalyzer and composition of the nickel powder), and that they have never built and ran a working system. This directly contradicts Defkalion's countless statements, that such systems exist. In fact, Defkalion claims working units were submitted to the Greek government for performance and safety testing, during the first ten days of July. (Link)

Defkalion has issued a statement to the Swedish website Ny Teknik about the cancellation of the license agreement. In the statement they indicate their work on the project will continue, and are hopeful the licensing issue can be resolved. Here is their statement.

"We believe we have a project. We continue the project. We still have a lot of trust in Mr Rossi. We believe in the technology. But as you understand we are receiving a lot of pressure, also Rossi is receiving a lot of pressure internationally. And we believe that Rossi is more vulnerable than us to pressure. This will be fixed I believe", Alexandros Xanthoulis, representing the investors told Ny Teknik.

Their response would be more meaningful if they would address Rossi's accusation that they have never built or operated a working reactor. The simple fact is that either Rossi is lying, or Defkalion is lying. Before the exotic energy community can completely trust either of these two entities, the truth needs to be determined and the lying party identified. If Defkalion really do have working reactors that have been tested by the Greek government, it would be in their best interest to show one of the units publicly -- in operation with witnesses. Or, they could simply release the results of the certification testing by the Greek government. 

On the other hand, if Rossi has proof that Defkalion has never produced a working reactor, he needs to present such evidence. For example, perhaps he could contact his friend Christos Stremmenos who is a member of Defkalion's board of directors, and have him make a public statement about their progress with the technology.

In my open letter to Andrea Rossi, I mentioned that the guilty (lying) party needs to be exposed, and ostracized by the exotic energy community. I stand by that statement. For that to happen, I think both parties need to put their "cards on the table." 

- Firstly, I would like to challenge Defkalion to present indisputable evidence that they have built, operated, and tested a Hyperion unit. For example, the test results from the Greek government could prove that such units exist, or a live demonstration of a unit via live streaming online video -- with on-site witnesses.

- Secondly, I would like to challenge Andrea Rossi to present the evidence he has that Defkalion has never built or operated such a unit. 

- Third, once both sides have presented their evidence (or lack of it), I would challenge whichever party has lied to admit the truth, and apologize to the entire alternative energy community. 

There have been far too many exaggerations, deceptions, and lies in the alternative energy community in the past several years. It is now time we draw a line in the sand, and declare that we will not tolerate dishonesty to tarnish the reputation of an extremely important technology like the Energy Catalyzer (Hyperion).

The future of our civilization is too important.

Yes, it is a sad day, because I have been betrayed with lies. I am sad mainly for my friend Christos Stremmenos, the Greek Scientist who made the tests in Bologna for the [w]eeks: he always believed in this, made a titanic effort to bring this in Greece, and now all his work too has been betrayed, but I am sure that we will work again together, maybe in Greece with other organizations: it would be a pity to throw away the baby with the dirt water. But the tech must go on, we signed a tremendous contract in the USA. The Customer has already made plans for 1,000 plants in the USA, and has the financial dimension for this.
By the way: it was already foreseen from me this USA plant, if you remember, I told months ago that we were preparing also a plant for the USA.

Our program goes on as scheduled, after the Agreement with the USA Partner.
The 1 MW plant will go in Operation in the USA, I cannot say in which city, because you could understand immediately who is the Partner, and we are bound not to reveal it until the test day. All our commercial programs will go ahead as usual.
