An open letter to Andrea Rossi about the current situation, in regards to his denial of Defkalion having built a working E-Cat reactor.

Dear Mr. Andrea Rossi,

You stated that the termination of the contract with Defkalion was purely financial, and not anything personal. I find this difficult to believe. Because if your statement that Defkalion has never built a working reactor of their own is true (it very well could be the case), then Defkalion has been spreading absolute lies about their progress. For example, Defkalion has stated...

• They have build working systems -- kilowatt scale and megawatt scale.
• Their design for the reactor is different than yours, but is fully functional.
• They never obtained an output of less than nineteen times the input, with their reactors.
• As of a month ago they were in the middle of pilot production of their Hyperion systems.
• These systems have underwent tests by the Greek government the first ten days of July.
• At peak, they have tested one thousand Hyperion kernels at one time, producing a large amount of heat they share with a nearby police academy.

If I was in your position -- and knew for a fact they had never built a working system -- I would be furious about their above statements. For a partner company to be making such obviously false claims would be totally inappropriate at best, and at worst a sinister effort to misinform the public about their progress. 

In fact, a company telling such alleged lies would tarnish your personal reputation, because of your association with them. There is a distance between yourself and them, but a member of their board of directors is a personal friend of yours. In addition, when someone searches the term "E-Cat" on the internet they automatically find links to Defkalion. By them telling such potential lies, it enables those who would wish to discredit you to claim that you could be lying as well. In the minds of many the old saying, "birds of a feather flock together" is very true. Defkalion's alleged lies could make individuals question your honesty -- even if you do not have a direct connection with them. 

The dishonest skeptics will simply make the association that both you and Defkalion have claimed to produce "impossible" devices, and since Defkalion is a liar -- you are too! In fact, they have already started this campaign in the past day, since your press release was posted. Those that dare to maintain the idea you have a valid technology are being harassed by the pseudoskeptics, who see this as a golden opportunity to discredit everyone interested in your work.

Due to the implications of their lies, I simply cannot see how you only see this as a financial betrayal, and not a personal one. 

An honest man -- and I believe you are one -- should be angry about such lies.

In my opinion, if they have never build a working reactor, Defkalion deserves to have their license terminated. A big issue in the exotic energy community is that many inventors tell lies about their progress, or exaggerate what they have. If Defkalion has never built a working reactor, they are no longer worthy of anyone's trust, and do not deserve to have access to the Energy Catalyzer technology.

My hope is that regardless what transpires between you and Defkalion in the future, the remaining honorable individuals at Defkalion (who did not participate in the lies that you claim were told) will let the full truth be known. 

The record needs to be set strait, because one of the two parties involved is lying. Either Defkalion claims are true, or they are not. There can be no middle ground. 

The fallout of these lies are "scorching the earth" of the entire Cold Fusion or LENR community. As I said before, the pseudoskeptics that have held cold fusion research back for decades, are using this unfortunate situation to their advantage. The lying party in this unfortunate situation deserves to be exposed -- and ostracized from the energy field *forever*. 

Lies are always wrong, but they are especially unacceptable when the stakes -- the future of our civilization -- are so high. The development and proliferation of the Energy Catalyzer is too important, for any party to tarnish it's future with dishonesty and deception.

Defkalion is expected to make a statement today, and it is my hope if they have never built a working reactor -- they will admit to lying and apologize. If they show proof of a working reactor, then I hope you will apologize. Only an admittance of the truth can start to repair the damage that has been done to the exotic energy community, the reputation of the innocent party, and the credibility of the E-Cat technology. 

The development of this technology must move on -- free from a tangled web of deceitful statements.

• Stremmenos Accuses Defkalion of Lies and Megalomania - Christos Stremmenos, a member of the board of Defkalion Green Technologies Inc., has posted a bold statement slamming his company for lying, making false accusations, and for being afflicted with the mental pathology of Megalomania. Now, Defkalion has responded via a statement to Ny Teknik, but avoided addressing Rossi's most critical accusation -- the claim they have not built a working reactor. (PESN; August 8, 2011)

• Rossi Gives Reason for Split from Defkalion; Repeats Accusation - As Defkalion Green Technologies Inc. continues to remain silent about the accusation that they have never built or tested reactors, Andrea Rossi continues to make statements -- including the accusation that Defkalion was never given the information to build a reactor. • Defkalion Responds in Support of Rossi - An official response from Defkalion states that their Hyperion products are a highly engineered advancement of the initial lab version of Rossi's E-Cat concept, and that Rossi signed off on all their improvements, and that they are preparing to launch product as planned. • Do Hyperions Dream of E-Cat Reactor Cores? - Defkalion Green Energy Inc. claims to have produced final products, but still will not answer two critical questions about the reactor cores at the heart of their systems.
