One unusual feature of this conference was the integration of
conventional alternative energy knowledge with advanced energy concepts, all
driven by the legacy left to us from Nikola Tesla.
Its local base demonstrated a good prototype for what can be done in
communities worldwide. Volunteers
from many walks of life contributed to overcoming obstacles, making the
conference and related public events successful.
Brian
Yetzer: 3-Dimensional
Printing
As a professor of Media Arts & Education at the Art Institute of
Philadelphia, Brian has known for a long time that we can use digital art
techniques to create 3-D film with nothing physical behind it.
But now it's possible to create an actual 3D model, printed from digital
files.
The
printer layers material at the micron level to create an object, and can print
in plastic, steel, or even chocolate syrup!
Most 3D printers cost around $20,000, but Makerbot in
It's possible to do 3D scanning, like from a traditional sculpture, and
then modify the model before printing. Materials
can be mixed or layered. Anything
can be printed, including auto parts, clothing, and personal effects.
Many levels of print shops are possible, so sometimes jobs can be
outsourced through specialists in other countries including
This has a lot of significance in terms of designing energy related
prototypes, since they can now be printed quickly and cheaply, which is an
improvement on the former processes that involved waiting for funding,
machining, and polishing.
Students
were asked to come up with Tesla inspired functional product designs that could
be sold online. Criteria were
developed.
Jeff
Behary: Pancake Tesla
Coils
http://www.electrotherapymuseum.com/
Pancake Coils are a relatively obscure topic.
Nicholas Callan was an Irish Catholic priest who developed an induction
coil around 1836. Sam Richie
invented a flat coil that produced large sparks around 1868.
Early Tesla coils were oil-filled, very heavy, and unsafe.
Thompson put the first coil on the market in 1895.
Starting in 1896, Kinraide set up Tesla coils that put out exquisite
spark patterns. He got caught up in

Many X-ray machines were built and sold using Tesla coils.

There is also a
lot of history regarding the use of Tesla coils medically.

original guess about which way electrical charge flows, and got it backwards.

Manning: Batteries, EVs,
and Bioelectromagnetism
Sixteen years of research on batteries at Exide formed the background for
this presentation. Several types can
be used for Electric Vehicles (EV). Nickel-iron

Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) has twice the density of lead-acid.
Oil companies have stopped production by buying and sitting on the patent

Chevy and
Sodium nickel fluoride batteries have 3-4x the energy density of
lead-acid. These have been
manufactured in several countries, have to be kept hot, and are very expensive.
Lithium iron phosphate needs special manufacturing conditions and thus is
expensive.
Tesla invented an early electrotherapeutic system taking the output of
Tesla coils through animal limbs. Some
hand-cranked systems were available through the 20s.
Then the government stepped in. Ultraviolet
wands with argon in the glass electrodes also disappeared.
Supposedly there was a "lack of positive data" according to the
FDA.
TENS devices are widely available now.
Studies show positive effects in neural repair.
Bone repair by embedding electrodes in bone has been researched in
Cancer therapy is very controversial.
Royal Rife was mentioned. Several
others have been shut down as well. Antone
Priore combined low frequencies with audio and VHF in a large plasma tube.
He was able to keep animals alive after they were infected with protozoa.

Dr.
Michael Pravica: Tesla's
Final Victories
He spoke of Tesla's many achievements and his primary motivation to make
life better for all humanity. Tesla
was consistently thinking far ahead of his time with a global view.
It would be possible to devote an entire conference to any one of his
inventions. Highlights include the
Electric Induction Motor, Alternating Current Motor, Fluorescent Lights, Tesla
Coil, Radio, Robotic Control, and the Tesla Turbine.
Tesla Coils (TC) were originally designed to approximate the frequency of
sunlight in 1891. Rotary AC
generators began to fly apart at 20000 cps.
The TC was essential to the development of modern particle accelerators.
Radio can be found in tuned circuit patents 593138 and 645576.
Gaylord
Olson: High Altitude Wind
Power and Aircraft Concepts
Wind power is proportional to the cube of wind velocity.
Velocity is higher at high altitude.
So there's a high production capacity.
Towers are not needed, and weather is a bit better.
Several companies were profiled, including TU Delft, Skymill, Altaeros,
KiteGen, Kitenergy, Ampyx, SwissKitePower, and EnerKite.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hight_altitude_wind_power
Competitive
commercial grade systems may be about 5 years off.
Later in the afternoon
Olson shared several concepts related to vertical takeoff aircraft.
Some of these can be made fairly efficient.
There are many reasons to use two coordinated aircraft for lifting rather
than a helicopter, including cost and safety.
One possible use for this system would be short-range air transport of
passengers in a sort of coach lifted by the planes.
Dan North:
Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) to Plug-In Electric (PIE) Conversion
Dan likes the acronym PIE.
EVs can be very efficient, as if you were getting 67 95 miles per
gallon. He says that 40% of global
warming is caused by CO emissions 70% of that is vehicles, and 70% of
vehicles are passenger models. So we
have a lot of potential to cut emissions with this technology.
The "low hanging fruit" is pickup trucks, which usually don't
need to go cross-country and often haul heavy things at around 45 mph in a
40-mile range. This is an ideal
situation for EVs.
The American average is 1.9
cars per family. One in each family
could be converted to a commuter car. Many
kits are available. Pricing is about
$3-6000. Most don't have
transmission plates, which are better obtained locally.
Automatic transmissions are not good for EVs because they are always
dragging on an engine. Manual
transmissions or simplified 2-speed units are much better.

EVs once outnumbered gas vehicles in the
There was another wave of interest in the 1970s.
Through the 1990s all the major auto manufacturers were making EVs.
Those models were all discontinued. Tesla
Car Co. has now shamed the big manufacturers into getting back to EVs.
Large Format Nickel Metal Hydride batteries were used in the 90s.
They get 100-150 miles per charge, and the remaining ones are still
working today. It's not a
technological problem. People are
being legally enjoined from doing further research.
Chevron Texaco has a controlling interest in the patent.
Lithium-ion batteries are thus a focus of current research.
The Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf are getting a lot of attention now.
For some reason, Nissan doesn't want to sell in PA.
The soon to be released Ford Focus EV is very promising.
They will build it on the same assembly line as their gas model.
Electric motors are much simpler and more durable than ICEs.
Overall ICE efficiency is 25%; electric 85%.
Also EV is favorable in terms of greenhouse gas emissions since those are
more easily controlled at power plants.
V2G = Vehicular to Grid. A
car is a storage for excess produced electricity, since they are usually charged
at night and power plants have to generate at all times.

Solar
Photovoltaic Technologies
"We've all seen the powerpoints they're obviously not solving
the problem."" Mark had
built an innovative tube controlled Tesla Coil for last year's contest.
He has worked on many solar arrays nationwide and in other countries.
"There are no energy solutions, there are just trade-offs."
An
average person uses about 4 kw-h per day running all devices.
1 kw solar array: 6 165 watt panels.
At about $3/watt solar is definitely viable.
Above $7/watt it cannot compete with conventional utilities.
Kits work well for consumers. Small
"plug and play"" inverters are now available which should help a
lot.
Stoyan
Sarg:
Field
Propulsion and Plasma Physics
Around the beginning of the
20th century
there were big changes in physics models, which are still controversial.
Mathematics can describe the physical reality, but it can also describe
realities that don't exist. Tesla
had a correct understanding of physics. In
1915 he said an airship could be sent anywhere in the world electrically.
Gravity is propagated by
the Ether. If Ether is rarefied,
gravity will be changed and an object should move.
Magnetic fields demonstrate this principle of action at a distance.
Then there is supergravitation (SG).
Ether had been mistakenly
abandoned. Cosmic Lattice (CL) is a
unique underlying geometric structure of space.
It explains many forces such as the Casimir force.
A cosmic lattice can be modeled. Forces
are arranged tetrahedrally. The
center is not stable and always oscillates.
Spatial Precession Momentum (SPM) and Node Resonance Momentum (NRM) are
parts of the lattice phenomena.
Supergravitational Law
defines attractive and repulsive strong forces (SG forces) inversely
proportional to the cube of distance in pure empty space.
Two fundamental particles form with length and frequency associated with
the Planck length and frequency.
Black holes are just
superdense matter. There are two
types of prisms of two intrinsic matter substances with left-hand and right-hand
internal twisting: Axial SG field,
Rotational SG component, length ratio 2:3. These
develop into helical structures crystallized from the two types of prisms, and
form helically.
Electron is an oscillating
3-body system of helical structures with two proper frequencies.
Oscillates at the
Static pressure of the
cosmic lattice is important in the Newtonian sense.
Pressure of the cosmic lattice is everywhere.
Atoms and nuclear chains get double folded.
Now we have an Atlas of Atomic Nuclear Structure as a derivative of
BSM-SG theory. This explains the raw
and column pattern of the Periodic table, valences, Pauli exclusion principles,
Hund's rule, oxidation number, nuclear spin (NMR), p-type of electronic orbits,
radioactivity, and other properties.
Conclusion: A temporal
disturbance of the self-synchronization of the CL nodes around a solid object
should affect its gravitational and inertial mass with simultaneous disturbance
of the light propagation and EM waves in the surrounding zone.
An asymmetrically disturbed self-synchronization around a solid object
will cause a directional change of gravitation and inertial mass of the object
and surrounding gas molecules.
A properly activated
neutral plasma should contain ion-electron pairs.
Heterodyne
Resonance Mechanism (HRM) could be invoked in a neutral plasma excited by a
comparatively low frequency AC field. Either
hydrogen or helium would be suitable for invoking the HRM.
This can be demonstrated with a plasma actuator in a laboratory, which
will rotate on its own when activated with an AC voltage.
A process of experiments is needed to verify which Unified Theory is
correct.
Every cubic cm of space
contains 3.8 KWH of hidden energy this is a primary source of nuclear
energy. There is some implication
that energy can be imparted and actually increase with time in some cases, as in
the "Tesla Tertiary" which is an extra coil placed on top of a normal
Tesla coil.

Fran McCabe:
Gyroscopic Propulsion
Air powered cars should be
mentioned a lot more often. Tata
Motors & NDI are two of the main companies.
They came up with a valving arrangement to cut off air at a critical
point, and also simplified cylinder design.
Direct mechanical drive is more efficient.
By contrast, electric vehicles can end up dead on the streets at
inconvenient times. Fran has built 5
air-powered vehicles. Wind power is
good for making compressed air. You
can get power needed and power available curves to meet with this technology.
Gyroscopes are well-known
to space enthusiasts because they help with satellite guidance.
They can do a lot in propulsion systems as well.
It could be said that they help with precession, which becomes vital to
understand in this context. Further
technical details on precession and its importance to the process of invention
are covered in a

Antigravity is a misnomer
it should be called artificial gravity.
The Biefield-Brown effect takes the least amount of energy for the most
amount of force. Power for the
lifter, properly called a beamship, is 1.3 mA, 40,000 V.
The device has a negative charge, and falls in the direction of a
positive charge. T. Townsend Brown
found this in 1929 at the age of 17. In
1959, at the GE space research center in King of Prussia PA, this work was
confirmed.
Subquantum kinetics is a
theory that can explain how this works. Gravity
should have two polarities, attracting and repelling.
These can be correlated to electric charge.
Negative charges can be gravity "hills".
Positive charges are thus "wells".
This creates waves in the Ether. A
device can be propelled along such a wave. There's
a relatively simple mathematical formula for it.

Lim Chua:
Physics of Resonance
"Resonance is an active state of a stable particle causing a sharp
maximum in the potential of absorption."
Shooting a resonant wave at
a wine glass saturates the material until a maximum limit of elasticity is
reached. Setup: signal generator,
amplifier, speaker, audio guide (copper pipe), box with glass in it.
One can break the glass using sound, but long before that point,
resonance is seen by a straw dancing around inside the glass.
Wireless transmission of electricity depends on resonance.
This is the next revolution of power transmission.
Applying this concept at an
electrical level produced Alternating Current.
Most coils are noisy and put out sparks.
For generation, there must be no disturbance to the public or
interference with electronic equipment. This
demonstration unit was a simplistic crude working model of a wireless system.
Transmitting and receiving ends do not need to be identical.
The receiving end size for modern end users should be portable.
On the transmitter, the
secondary can also be called a resonator. This
primary is a single MOSFET which replaces the spark gap and isn't noisy.
Operates at 318 Khz, and the two coils are linked with a ground wire.
In Tesla's time, he used neon lamps to find when a pair of coils were in
tune with each other. On the
transmitting end it's 18 volts, 10 on the receiving, meaning a 56% efficiency,
which can be improved.
Beyond the 3 gHz range it's
less practical because atmosphere etc. absorbs the signals.
Useful range is only up to about 2.8 gHz.
There are conflicting reports on how much we're hurt by these
frequencies.
This system has great
potential for remote wind generation sites.
It doesn't care where your electricity comes from solar,
hydroelectric, wind, etc.
Anya Petrovic:
Tesla Metamorphosis
http://www.teslametamorphosis.com/
Tesla waves are non-Hertzian
and scalar. They're clearly a type
of energy that Tesla was working with at times.
The Tesla Coil is a molecular enhancer.
Tesla waves get stronger with distance.
They show up purple in enhanced energy photos, and tend to arrive before
a healer uses them. (There's a
relevant comment within Tesla's Canadian Patent 142352)
There is an endless
quantity of this energy around us; the question is how to access it.
Results are fast, usually within 3 sessions one way or another.
The evolutionary aspect triggered and initiated with the Tesla
Metamorphosis scalar waves is more important than the healing itself.
Frequencies appear to have intelligence, and intention is vital in
working with them. Colors are
relevant to chakra meditation, where purple is characteristic of the crown.
There are no certain
movements or techniques. It's very
free system. Some points on the body
usually need touch. This work refers
extensively to Dr. Robert O. Becker. Potentials
are just beginning to be explored.
