Defkalion Press Conference Reveals E-Cat Rollout Plans
In their June 23 press conference, Defkalion Green Technologies Inc. disclosed their plans for Andrea Rossi's Cold Fusion E-Cat (Energy
Catalyzer) technology. A white paper is available on their new website. Despite their willingness to reveal their intentions for this game changing technology, the mainstream media refused to budge, and remains silent.

Pure Energy Systems News
Knowledge is growing of Andrea Rossi's Energy Catalyzer (E-Cat)
technology. This cold fusion or LENR (Low Energy Nuclear Reaction) technology utilizes nickel powder, hydrogen gas, and an undisclosed catalyst to produce nuclear fusion at low temperatures. The result is a huge amount of energy being released, in the form of heat, without any pollution or radioactive waste being produced. The technology holds the potential to reduce the cost of energy by ninety percent or more, and end the world's dependence on traditional fossil and nuclear fuels.
Defkalion Green Technologies Inc.
is the company that has acquired a license from Andrea Rossi to manufacture, sell, and distribute the technology across the world (except in the Americas). On June 23, 2011 Defkalion held a press conference in the Municipality of Palaio Faliro, Greece. During their press conference, they formally revealed their plans for the technology, the parties involved, and many additional details.
According to accounts from individuals who were present at the press conference, around one hundred and fifty people attended. Among these included...
- Mr. Andrea Rossi (The inventor of the technology.)
- Prof. Christos Stremmenos (Professor and Ambassador.)
- Mr. A. Xanthoulis (Representative from Defkalion)
- Mr. Xinidis (The Minister of Industry and Energy)
- Representatives from various political parties including the Green Party of Germany
- The President of the Greek Technical Chamber
- The President of the Union of Greek Chambers
- The President of the Greek-American Chamber of Commerce
- Representatives of the Industrial Union of North Greece
The press coverage of the event included representatives from Greek TV stations, Greek Newspapers, Italian Journalists, and the Associated Press. Despite the many journalists that attended, mainstream media coverage has been almost non-existent. Almost a day later, an internet search yielded near zero coverage by the mainstream media.
A video of the press conference with English subtitles is planned to be posted in the coming days.
Details Revealed
During the conference, Defkalion revealed many details about their plans for the technology. Most of these details can be found in a white paper posted on their newly refurbished website. The
white paper
(backup)
covers the size and capacity of units that will be offered, the name the units will be sold under (Hyperion), the location of the first three factories that will be opened (Xanthi, Greece), their licensing model, the planned opening of their one megawatt plant, and the benefits of the technology.
A few of the more interesting bits of information released include...
- They will be selling CHP units (Combined Heat and Power) that will not only produce heat, but also electricity.
- The Greek government will be witnessing a test of a unit in the first ten days of July.
- They are in the process of obtaining all certifications and safety authorizations from the European Union.
- In their products, the heat is produced via a closed thermal circuit. The circuit utilizes glycol to carry the heat.
- The first products will be offered for sale in the first quarter of 2012.
It seems that Defkalion is moving quickly to commercialize the technology. This is great, because the world needs this technology immediately.
Addressing Skepticism
In Defkalion's white paper, the issue of skepticism is addressed. They mention how this technology would be front page news, except that most people think it is too good to be true. In fact, they compare the skepticism about their technology to that of the Wright Brother's first flights.
For those that are not aware, many academics and skeptics denied that human flight was possible even after the Wright Brothers had flown their aircraft. Articles were written in newspapers stating that it was all a hoax, and the technology was impossible. Just like modern skeptics and naysers who dismiss exotic alternative energy technologies, skeptics of that age could not accept breakthroughs that emerged outside the "official" channels of science.
In Defkalion's white paper, they quote a paragraph from the book, "The Wright Brother's" that addresses the issue of skepticism against exotic new technologies.
"When a man of the profound scientific wisdom of Simon Newcomb (for example) had demonstrated with unassailable logic why man couldn't fly, why should the public be fooled by silly stories about two obscure bicycle repairmen who hadn't even been to college? Professor Newcomb was so distinguished an astronomer, that he was the only American since Benjamin Franklin to be made an associate of the Institute of France. It was widely assumed that what he
didn't know about the laws of physics simply wasn't in books. And that when he said that flying couldn't be done, there was no need to inquire any further."
The fact is the scientific community has turned into a cult that preaches anything that claims to violate the so called "laws of physics" is a fraud, hoax, or "snake oil." However, their pathological skepticism is going to come back to haunt them, when these technologies emerge into the marketplace -- with or without their involvement!
As more information emerges about Defkalion and Andrea Rossi's technology, it will be posted here on PESN.

Defkalion internal tests

Fusion Now:
A day after the press conference held by Defkalion Green Technologies S.A. there is still apparently no mention of it in the English-speaking mainstream media, the most prominent news outlet reporting on the event being Next Big Future.
Meanwhile, a company representative using the moniker Defkalion GT has begun answering questions on the company's forum. In response to a question by forum member barbierir about Defkalion's internal E-Cat tests, Defkalion GT answered that the company has conducted a large number of in-house tests on the E-Cat prototype over several months. In addition, Greek authorities will be testing DGT's Hyperion products for performance, stability, functionality, and safety during the first 10 days of July. The results of those tests will be released after the authorities certify the products. The results of any other third-party tests on the Hyperion products before the October launch will be announced by DGT and published on their website.

"I just emaile BBC and Channel 4 News asking why they haven't covered the story yet. I mean, I even it does for some reason prove to be a big failure, what's wrong with it being shown in the news anyway? Sports teams are followed globally by news companies, and if the sports team fails, it's just 'bad news'! I think there's something more fishy going on here, suppression of sorts. Cold Fusion will definitely be world-changing if/when it kicks off."
