We are all aware of the growing field of cold fusion research. However, years of exhausting research has led some researchers to think outside the box.
Recently, the well known cold fusion pioneer, William Flark, made a stunning announcement. He has discovered a novel way of producing energy via the combination of ingredients available at any grocery store and a proprietary catalyst.
The technology appears to be quite simple. A reaction vessel composed of a transparent plastic material is used to house the reactants. Kinetic energy is applied via the insertion of spinning blades which aid in the mixing of ingredients. Half a cup of mixed fruit is placed in the reactor vessel along with soy or hemp protein powder. A scoop of ice serves to suspend the fruit and protein in the proper geometric configuration. It is thought the strawberries in the mixed fruit contribute strongly to the reaction, but all the anti-oxidant rich fruits help facilitate the production of energy. A pinch of a special undisclosed catalyst is added. Finally, a two centimeter thick lid is placed on top and provides shielding from messy splattering.
As William Flark explained last week in an exclusive PESN interview, "The reactants in my system are cheap, safe, and plentiful. What makes my system unique is my secret catalyst. Anyone can mix fruit and protein together and produce a mild release of energy after consumption, but my secret catalyst allows for massive amounts of energy to be released for long periods of time."
His bold statements vindicated last week when in a special experiment at the University of Salami (which just happens to be the world's oldest university with a continually operating sandwich shop) was performed. After following precise instructions, researchers from the university prepared the icy beverage and served it to forty seven sleep deprived college students. Immediately afterwards, checks of their alertness, reaction times, and physical endurance were performed.
Stunning Results
Out of forty seven volunteers, forty five had a 70% increase in alertness, a 90% increase in reaction time, and a 130% increase in endurance. This energy producing effect lasted approximately eighteen hours. Stunningly, the caloric content of the eight ounce serving given to each volunteer was only eighty calories. The increase in energy was far beyond what a small eighty calorie drink could produce. There were no hidden sources of energy as each student was searched for prohibited munchies. The obvious conclusion is that an anomalous gain of energy is produced. The remaining two volunteers were removed from the experiment after it was discovered they attempted to order out for pizza.
Apparently, this anomalous gain of energy is due to the secret catalyst. Speculation about this proprietary ingredient has been spreading like wildfire. It is thought that the catalyst must bring the anti-oxidants from the nano-sized blended mixed fruit particles close enough to the protein bonds to allow for a transmutation process. The resulting product of this transmutation seems to be a new amino acid with special properties.
When asked about the catalyst William Flark declared, "As I have said before, I cannot disclose the catalyst. When my intellectual passport is completed I will share more information, but not until then. I would like to state that the important thing to consider is that no preservatives or artificial sweeteners are used in the reaction. Additionally, due to the fact my reactor vessel is dish washer safe any waste is easily and safely disposed of." In regards to a question about the transmuted byproduct he answered, "The byproduct is perfectly harmless, but appears to have special energy enhancing effects. After six hours of blending I consumed a half liter of my beverage. I just had a test performed and my telomeres are re-lengthening, my mitochondrial DNA is repairing, and my stem cells are multiplying!"
Coming to a Store Near You!
Drinkalion Blue Beverages Inc. has announced they have received a license to produce, distribute, and sell this delicious beverage around the world. They expect to open a bottling plant composed of one hundred and twenty five reactors producing a total output of one million liters per hour by this June. This plant will be located in France, but soon afterwards a second is expected to open in Brazil. After these two plants are opened, additional licenses will be offered.
In a recent blog post at the "Diary of Blended Science" William Flark was asked if his technology could help reduce the high price of oil or help reduce the use of fossil fuels. William responded by saying,
"I hear there is some guy in Italy working with nickel and hydrogen to produce heat. That might be pretty awesome, but my invention will taste better!"
More news about William Flark's energy enhancing beverage will be posted as it is received, unless it is first discovered that this is an April Fools story.
