about renewable energy products available now as well as clean fuel
alternatives.

Father and son team, Tai
and Charlie Robinson, of Intergalactic
American Fuel Vehicles (AFV) departed today on a gasoline-free adventure in
a multi-fuel vehicle that can utilize hydrogen, methane (natural gas), or
ethanol as fuel. The pair are joined by Sterling
Allan, founder of the New Energy Congress, to demonstrate and educate about
renewable energy products, energy efficiency measures and cleaner fuels on their
round trip.
As the primary destination of the Continuing Hydrogen & Clean Fuel Education
Tour, the team will appear live on the EveryDay
with Marcus and Lisa TV show Tuesday morning 11:00 am Eastern, February
17, 2009. (See our previous
story.) EveryDay is part of the FamilyNet TV network in Atlanta, GA,
and airs on 200 television stations around the country. If you want to watch it live,

Tuesday afternoon, the team will meet with Mayoral candidate Mary Norwood to
take a hydrogen powered tour of downtown Atlanta in the 2008 Intergalactic Space
Cruiser that the team is driving.
"Through rain, through sleet, through snow, we will drive hydrogen
home," says Tai. The team will travel through Wyoming today with an
expected blizzard. However, Tai is confident this 4-wheel drive vehicle will get
the team to their destination safely, all while producing cleaner air out the
exhaust pipe than the ambient air in any metropolitan city the world over.
"Pit-Stops" for fuel are scheduled in: Salt Lake, Draper and Park
City, Utah; Evanston, Rock Springs and Cheyene, Wyoming; Gothenburg, Kearney and
Omah, Nebraska; Kansas City, Kansas; St. Louis, Missouri; Evansville, Indiana;
Nashville and Chatanooga, Tennessee; and Atlanta, Georgia. Although hydrogen,
(H2) is available at all the industrial gas suppliers along the route, the trip
will primarily be powered by compressed natural gas (CNG), and ethanol (E85), fuels.
On the return trip, "Pit-Stops" are also scheduled for Birminghan,
Alabama and Topeka, Kansas. The team is available for radio and TV interviews as
they "Drive Clean" around the country.
About Intergalactic Hydrogen
Intergalactic Hydrogen provides MADE-IN-USA renewable energy products &
cleaner fuel options that work with today's infrastructure and beyond. We build
multi-fuel, hydrogen (H2), methane (CNG), propane (LPG), electric (EV, HEV &
PHEV), biodiesel (B100), SVO and ethanol (E85) automobiles, appliances and
infrastructure. We promote the cleaner, safer, local fuels through educational
workshops and engineering consultation. "Reduce your footprint on the
planet with American Fuel Vehicles (AFV's) and declare your energy
independence."
About the New Energy Congress
The NEC was founded by Sterling Allan 3.5 years ago as a global association
of experts who review the most promising new and emerging energy technologies.
They publish The
Global Top 100 Clean Energy Technologies list, a publically available
resource that is generated from a continuous professional review process taking
into consideration a number of criteria including: environmental impact,
sustainability, cost benefits, reliability, scalability, safety, and
availability. They also facilitate the emergence of promising new technologies
that may have difficulty gaining assistance through more traditional
means. Tai Robinson is a founding member of the NEC.

Here are a few shots from the first fill-up of our trip.

 |
 |
| We filled up the
tank with Natural Gas in Park City, Utah for $8.66, for 9.8 gasoline
gallon equivalents, which will take us around 150 miles at 15 mpg. |
|
The vehicle can
take either Hydrogen, Natural Gas, Ethanol or Gasoline. The modified
vehicle is programmed to automatically switch from one tank to the other
when it goes to empty; or it can be manually switched. |

| Tai has "AmericanFuelVehicles.com"
emblazoned on the side of the vehicle, along with a
"Intergalactic" name badge, per his small volume manufacturer
OEM status. |
|
The wheel hubs also
have "AFV" 3-D lettering on them, for "American Fuel
Vehicle". |

As we drove by the Nordic Ski jump
in Park City, where the Olympics were held in 2002, Tai told me about how
he set the world distance Gelande ski jump record in Snowbird last April,
jumping 205 feet just after another competitor went 174 feet, setting the
record. He also told me about his triple twisting triple back flip
at what is now the Utah Olympic Park as part of the U.S. Team from
1991-1997. |
