Son of T. Henry Moray Releases DVD
John Moray's new DVD, "The Sea of Energy in which the Earth Floats",
reviews the work of his father, T. Henry Moray, who purportedly built a device
that harnessed "radiant energy" from the cosmos; witnessed by
hundreds, but never successfully commercialized.

John Moray, son of T. Henry Moray, has released a new DVD the briefly documents the life
of his father, the history of the "radiant energy" device he
developed over several decades, the obstacles it faced, and some of the theories
about how it worked.
I met with John in his home in Salt Lake City, and had him on my Free Energy Now show
this past Monday to talk about his father's work and the DVD.
Background
T. Henry Moray is one of the most famous names in the free energy world.
Beginning in the 1920s, he demonstrated a "radiant energy" device to many people who were unable to find a hidden power supply. He called it a solid state detector (also known as the "Moray Valve"). It included a large antenna connected to a complex series of high voltage capacitors, transformers, and semiconductors.
By supposedly stimulating the existing oscillations of radiant energy from
space. The longest it ran in one continuous setting was nearly a week,
outputting around 100 Watts. I would have ran longer, but a city works
crew felled a tree nearby that disrupted the apparatus. A its peak, the
device produced 50 kilowatts of power.
Due to limitations in budget, and the expense and time involved in building the
core elements of the device, each new iteration cannibalized the previous one.
The demonstrations attracted newspapers and scientists from Bell Laboratories and from the Department of Agriculture, but none could
figure out how the device actually operated. Neither could evidence of fraud be found. The device was eventually destroyed by
Moray's assistant Felix
Pridgt, whom apparently was angered that Moray would not sell his device to corporate interests.
In the 1930s T. Henry Moray developed advanced semiconductors and transistors,
helping to pioneer that industry. He passed away in 1974, without seeing his
radiant energy technology come to light.
Though groomed to carry the torch, at eighty years old, though still vibrant,
John has pretty much given up hope that he will see this technology finally
emerge during his lifetime; but he does hope to inspire others who might be able
to bring this work to fruition.
DVD: The Sea of Energy in which the Earth Floats
 Released in
the last week of November 2008, proceeds from the DVD will go toward Moray's
foundation: The House of Moray Research Ltd.,
to bring forth new energy technologies, especially the work of his
father.
Titled, The Sea of Energy in which the Earth Floats, the DVD is an
update of a book John published by that same title, and contains information
never before released.
For me, the highlight of my visit with John was when he was talking about his
theory about how the device works. Suddenly a light bulb went off in my
head and I grasped a concept so simple that I was astonished I'd never realized
it before.
We can easily understand the principle of tidal energy. The gravitational
pull of the moon effects the oceans as they slosh back and forth in relation to
the moon. Put a turbine in the path of the moving water, and viola, you
have a tidal power plant.
Why should we be surprised that there could also be electromagnetic flux on a
huge scale that could be harnessed. The earth is clearly magnetic, with a
polarity from near the North Pole to near the South Pole. And the earth is
passing through a solar system and galaxy filled with other magnetic
bodies. Anyone with even basic science backgrounds knows that magnetic
fields fluctuate when two adjoining magnetic objects. In other words, the
earth's magnetic field is no more "static" than the earth's
oceans. Given the right apparatus, such fluctuations could be tapped for
generating electricity.
If it isn't a magnetic phenomenon that T. Henry Moray was harnessing, perhaps it
was some other cosmic field that is likewise in flux as the earth passes along.
Whatever the case, it seems to me that what is needed is a little more
imagination on the part of the scientific community, to not be so quick to write
off something as being bogus or junk science, just because the input energy
source can't readily be determined by present measurement devices.
Unfortunately, the price tag for replicating T. Henry Moray's technology to the
point of market readiness is in the region of many tens of millions of dollars,
according to John, who is not willing to entertain offers of less than that.
Once mass produced, John thinks a device that could power several houses would
cost around $1500, "the price of a Television".
There have been a number of others who have tried to revive the technology and
advance it, but thus far no plausible device has emerged.
While the DVD price tag is a bit high, I recommend that you get it. John
has done a great job in presenting the material. While it's not
blockbuster entertainment, neither is it dry or corny. It's good
information, presented clearly and concisely, with plenty of visual material to
accompany the script.

excellent history presentation on his dad's work. [Though] there [are] no
additional technical details given, [...], I was quite excited to hear John
state that his dad's radiant energy powered radio was utilizing the direct
conversion of radioactive material as its source of power. This proves that I
have been right on target for years and should stand to silence my own
distracters.
There are a few photos of Moray valves that I saw for the very first time.
This was refreshing to see something involving radiant energy that I had not
already seen. Paul Brown was also mentioned as a person who thought he had
rediscovered how to build the RE Device from information that he had obtained
from former employees of John Moray.
This DVD was well worth the forty dollars for me and I suggest that you buy one
to support John's efforts.
