NEC to Feature Top 100 Clean Energy Technologies at 2nd Environmental Hall of Fame
Pierce Brosnan (James Bond) and his wife will be receiving two of the
36+ awards being given, along with two of the clean energy technology companies
in the Top 100 listing by the New Energy Congress. The NEC will have three
displays featuring a few of the Top 100.

The second Environmental Hall of Fame ceremony will be held in Chicago beginning tomorrow through Saturday, Nov. 20-22. Among the environmental celebrities to be honored are Pierc Brosnan (James Bond) and his wife, who have been activists in the movement.
Two of the New Energy Congress' Global Top 100 Clean Energy Technology companies will also receive awards:
Stirling Energy
Systems, a concentrated solar technology that heats a highly-efficient Stirling engine, has been in first place in the Top 100 for over a year.
Green Power
Inc., which is commencing commercial production of a 100 ton per day municipal waste-to-diesel plant, recently rose to 15th place on the Top 100 list.
At the event, the New Energy Congress (NEC) will have a display listing all 100 technologies, with feature frames for fourteen of them who agreed to help sponsor the event through their advertisement display. Green Power Inc. and Stirling Energy Systems both gave very generous donations to the event as well (after being selected to receive awards).

The New Energy Congress received an award at the first Environmental Hall of Fame event on June 6, 2008 in LA.
Pierce Brosnan and his wife attending has generated significant media attention, so there will be at least two major television networks from Chicago present at the event tomorrow.
