MAUI, HI, USA -- Laurel White has teamed up with PES Network to take her 'Green Education' on the road, across mainland America, city to city, for a year. The purpose of the road show will be to educate people about easy-to-implement clean energy solutions available now, many of which can actually save money; and to give hope about the future by reviewing some of the most promising clean emerging technologies.
White will teach people how they can get far better gas mileage in their existing vehicles, save energy costs at home, inexpensively generate their own electricity, use less water, and other tips for reducing their footprint on the planet, as well as share some health tips for improving their emotional well being. Like Johnny Appleseed, her objective is that the green support groups she starts will continue meeting regularly, sharing additional insights and helping one another implement the best solutions, blossoming into sustainable communities and even businesses around the country.
As she travels, she will be sharing her experiences and discoveries from local inventors, through blog, video, and other social networking avenues. A calendar of cities to be visited will be posted on the official website:
http://EcoVan.org
She will be driving a modified vehicle, in the spirit of recycling, as a demo unit that both burns cleaner fuel as well as uses some relatively inexpensive H-injection technology to improve conventional mileage. Donations are being accepted at the official website to cover some of the final modification costs of this road show vehicle, which is budgeted to be completed with just an additional $10,000.

Ecovan converted by Devin Coverdale, a
specialty yacht remodeler and diesel mechanic, who was going to use it
himself for a similar purpose, until marriage and a child made this
unfeasible.

Additional expenses that donations will be covering include $8,000 to purchase and install
a natural gas tank system so it can also run on that clean fuel; $1,000 for a Hydrogen Injection Unit
that generates hydrogen onboard from water to inject into the air intake for
improved mileage in the gasoline engine. She also is looking for the donation of a digital video camera. A non-profit status has been set up to allow her to receive tax-free contributions.
Once she is on the road, she anticipates that the project will be self-sustaining. She also envisions that several other people will take off on similar ventures, continuing and multiplying her work.
One of the initiatives White has launched in conjunction with this project is the establishment of a Green
Fund, where people can donate money to be distributed to support extreme cutting edge technologies that have been languishing for lack of support. The New Energy Congress will be involved in deciding which technologies will receive this unencumbered financial assistance, and how much.
White has also created a 'Green Round Table' for the Youth in each city to come together to discuss their perspectives and any experiments they have come up with to support the next generation and show them a perspective of hope for a cleaner planet in their future.
White writes: "Let me know if you would like us to visit your town or if you know of any creative geniuses in your circle of friends or have kids that want to join the Green Round Table Discussions. Go to the website and sign up as a member:
www.ecovan.org. Be a part of the change you'd like to see!"
