March 2006 circuit will showcase the usual unusual

It looks like Dennis Lee is hard at it (see email below).
I had an associate who attended a meeting a couple of years ago such as the
one being described below. He said that Lee presented a series of
technologies as if each were his own invention, yet my associate recognized
the technologies from other places.
Another red flag is his appeal to religion (Christianity) as a reason to
support him and his technologies. He knows how to make a
religiously-inclined person feel guilty if he doesn't support the cause, as if
his salvation might somehow be compromised if he doesn't get in and become an
advocate Lee and his technologies. The problem with an appeal to
religion is that when a person brings what should be a scientific question
over into the realm of faith, then objectivity is removed.
I've never experienced Dennis Lee first hand. All this is based on
hearing accounts from those who have, including a very close associate at
PerenTech who spent many sessions with Lee, and has been one of his dealers
from way back.

In 2002, as I recall, Gene
Mallove and I attended one of Dennis' introductions, in Manchester, New
Hampshire.
Dennis presented many technologies, including a lawnmower modified by Paul
Pantone's GEET. Dennis never
mentioned GEET at all!
He also misrepresented many other technologies, but from a technical point of
view. Nothing he said was technically wrong, but just misleading. [Could have
been due to his not fully understanding the technology about which he was
speaking at the time.]
He demonstrated a few toys that can lead the public into thinking he has
access to bizarre physics that the rest of the world does not, such as twirling
magnets that spin as an interactive set for hours, a magnetically levitated top
that spins for hours in mid-air, and a bar magnet that floats down a
hollow-but-very-thick-walled copper pipe like a marble in corn syrup. These are
all conventional albeit unusual physics.
He is not a con, as far as I could see, but he is not as honest and
forthright as he could easily be.
He is a salesman and appears to not understand the physics.
I watched him for his two-hour presentation and spoke with him afterward. I
believe he is honest, but he is a zealot who gets in his own way. Reminds me of
a joke about Ronald Reagan years ago: "Don't confuse me with the facts; my
mind is made up!"

The pickle juice device is the GEET
lawnmower, and he only demonstrates it for 5 seconds because it is indoors. No
proof of what was originally in the carburetor!
Any water source he talks about is nothing more than electrolyzed water as
hydrogen and oxygen gas. Storage medium, not source!
The imploding system is ignition of Brown's
gas (H2 and O2 mixture) in a heavy metal container. When it combusts, the
heat is absorbed by the metal and it condenses, drawing a vacuum, of course!
No exhaust is, of course, water vapor from ignited Brown's gas.
Burning tap water is just a short way of saying electrolyze water with
electricity (which came from coal and oil!) and burn the Brown's gas.
Passing electricity without wires is a demonstration of a Tesla coil
radiating enough power to run some light bulbs. Nothing really new here. You can
do the same thing with a fluorescent bulb near a radio tower.
The Negawatt device is probably a reactor (a coil or capacitor circuit with a
power factor of less than one), being conventional electrical engineering. Sure,
it shows current going back, but it is power that was temporarily stored in the
box which came from the power company to begin with. If it is used to compensate
for a bad power factor electrical device in your home, well, sure it reduces
your bill, because cheap home electric meters do not meter power, but just
voltage times current, so if the Negawatt device balances the power factor (like
a run capacitor offsets the inductance of an under-load induction motor), you
get a savings on the metered electricity you are billed for. You do not conserve
anything other than reactive power dissipated in the wires between the
generating plant and your house!!!
The water flowing uphill is suction from his Brown's gas implosion
demonstration!
The vibrationless jackhammer is real. It is just a very good engineering
invention. You see a videotape of a tiny woman using it to bust concrete.
His high efficiency motor and generator stuff leaves a lot to be desired for
"proof." The magnetic "motor" (generator, actually) was only
talked about; he claims secrecy because he and its inventor have been
threatened. He did demonstrate the electric generator, which is just below 100%
but very good. I approached him afterward and was not allowed to retest it under
my test protocols.

People,
Dennis Lee has been promising free electricity 'in a few months' .
. . .for the last 20 years, while taking millions of investor dollars along the
way. I've talked to people who have lost their life's savings to
Lee.
Inventors of some "technology" Lee shows have told me that Lee
stole it. The inventors of the only thing that really works, the Jack
hammer, said Lee never paid them any of the promised royalties.
Dennis has paraded around the country at least 4 different kinds of
technology said to make free electricity (including a giant flywheel).
I have offered Dennis $50,000 USD to show real proof; he has only sued me
to try to get me to take down my pages about him still found at www.phact.org/e/dennis.html
A dozen state attorney generals have taken actions against Lee - but Lee
is well funded to use legal delay tactics to outlast these people in most
cases. The BBB has been warning people for years about Lee's fraudulent
claims.
I have searched for 10 years but never been able to find anyone who has
made legitimate money from Lee's ever changing business
"opportunities" and I've never found anyone who got a car getting over
100 mpg after paying for one of Lee's classes.
I can offer simple science explanations for all Lee's tricks on
stage. If his engines on stage really did run on water and/or have no
exhaust, he would be willing to prove it by leaving them running an entire
show.
I agree that Lee's [Brown's gas] demo wrongly calls the gas
"water" - the stuff simply detonates in a real explosion, but when the
resulting steam quickly condenses, it does then create a vacuum - but the stuff
is still dangerous.
You are right about Dennis working the religious angle - some of Lee's
venues are only meant for pastors - he tries to get them to sign up whole
churches to pay for the right to one day see a free electricity demonstration.
Sincere FE researchers have told me that FE hucksters like
Lee and Newman make all of them look bad to millions of people. Anyone
involved with extreme energy claims has to understand that [such individuals]
have made the area of study look bad to the common person.
I will be giving a talk in the Philadelphia area March
18 about Lee's operation. I encourage forewarned people to go see Dennis
Lee in action - such snake oil salesmen are a dying breed.

In Defense of Lee
New Energy Congress member, Ken
Rasmussen, speaks in defense of Dennis Lee. Rasmussen says he has read
Lee's book, and has watched 48+ hours of his videos, and that he is satisfied
that Lee is a genuine proponent of viable technologies, and that the above
allegations are unfair. Rasmussen did not perceive Lee to be claiming
technologies as his own.

demanded anonymity, but most are named, along with the long stories of what
went wrong along the way."
The above-mentioned Kurt Annaheim, who is one of Lee's
