In a recent email discussion with Tom Bearden regarding the 'energy from the vacuum,' I requested his answer regarding the effect of 'disturbing' the current balance and equilibrium of the 'vacuum' through massive usage of the 'vacuum energy' via his Motionless Electromagnetic Generator.

His answer is forthright. Our current 'energy' systems make use of the 'vacuum' in a much more wasteful and 'disturbing' manner and methodology -- deliberately inefficient and wasteful, in and of themselves. It is deliberately created within a 'control' mechanism, which I refer to as the "control paradigm".

One merely has to look at the Hubble Space Telescope's examination of our relative position within the 'known' Universe, and one will immediately realize that any speculation to the contrary appears to be unsupportable. The amount of Zero Point Energy 'affected' is analogous to a literal 'drop' in the ocean, compared to our current wasteful exploitation of our current resources.

Leslie,

No, since all EM energy in the universe and in every EM system is already extracted from the vacuum anyway, one does nothing different in directly using the process.

Indeed, one will be doing great good, by eliminating much of the present giant "wastage" of EM energy due to the silly insistence on Lorentz symmetric circuits and systems. So for the next century or two, use of more direct energy from the vacuum would dramatically REDUCE the "exposure" to energy-from-the-vacuum processes, as well as eliminating all that massive destruction and pollution of the planet by the normal "fuel" processes.

So anyone (and there are a few) out there yelling about "dirty old EM energy from the vacuum" doesn't even know enough to realize his own body, brain, cells, etc. already use such EM energy from the vacuum, as do all other living things on earth. And as do all inert things on earth.

Problem is that, sooner or later, anyone who is seriously interested in EM energy from the vacuum is going to have to think about, and ponder upon, the source charge problem.

Any charge just sits there and pours out real observable photons in all directions, continually. That is easily confirmed by experimental measurement.

Yet no instrument known to man can detect any energy input to the charge. Again, that is easily confirmed experimentally.

But those photons pouring out at light speed in all directions, establish and continually replenish the charge’s associated EM fields and potentials – at light speed. Leave the charge alone, and it will pour out real EM energy freely, from now till the end of the universe. The original charges in the original matter of the universe have been pouring out “free EM energy” this way for some 13 billion years.

All observable EM energy in the universe is produced by the associated charges as freely flowing streams of real, usable EM energy. As Van Flandern points out with his frozen and unfrozen waterfall analogies, the “static” EM field is not like a “frozen” waterfall, but is precisely like an “unfrozen” waterfall. It is comprised of internal parts in continuous motion, although the overall form and pattern appear “static” and unmoving.

Every observable EM field and potential – and every joule of observable EM energy in the universe – is freely produced by the associated source charge(s) in that manner.

The source charge problem faces us with two possibilities: Either

(1) The charge creates all that energy from nothing at all, thereby falsifying and destroying the conservation of energy law (and most of physics), or

(2) The charge continually absorbs disordered virtual state energy from the subquantal oscillations of the virtual state vacuum, changing each absorption of a virtual photon into mass-energy of the mass of the charge, thereby reordering these differentials of virtual state energy (that is a negative entropy operation falsifying the present second law of thermodynamics, which already has many known and accepted violations and requires revision), coherently integrating the now-reordered differentials of mass-energy to the next quantum level of excitation. Whereupon the zitterbewegung of the vacuum “shakes out” a real, observable photon, so that the excitation abruptly decays by emission of a real, observable photon. The process iterates, so that observable photons are continually emitted, with no observable energy input but with the required energy input in virtual state form.

The latter choice is what actually happens. So every charge in the universe is already a nonequilibrium steady state (NESS) thermodynamic system, continuously consuming positive entropy of the virtual state and producing negative entropy of the observable state, as shown theoretically possible by Evans and Rondoni in 2002.

Further, this also violates the Klein geometry utilized in physics since 1872, and requires change of the underlying geometry to Leyton’s object oriented geometry, now established very clearly in robotics, etc. Klein geometry, by its group symmetry operations, dictates that breaking symmetry at one level loses the information at that level, so that the overall symmetry is reduced to that of the next lower level. That is a sort of built-in “entropy” producing operation whenever symmetry is broken. On the other hand, Leyton’s more advanced groups and group methods result in the information at a given level being retained when symmetry is broken at that level, and also a new symmetry formed at the next higher level. That is a sort of built-in “negative entropy” producing operation whenever symmetry is broken.

Nature is beginning to strongly show the correctness of the Leyton geometry and its superiority over the old Klein geometry.

So by making the appropriate change in geometry also, finally all meshes and the long vexing source charge problem is solved.

Also, we point out that circa 1902 Lorentz arbitrarily symmetrically regauged the already curtailed Maxwell-Heaviside equations, so that he just arbitrarily discarded all asymmetrical Maxwellian systems! He did it just to get simpler equations much easier to solve, thus eliminating most of the tedious numerical methods otherwise required. Lorentz symmetrical equations are much easier to solve and get algebraic solutions.; The standard CEM/EE model used in all electrical engineering still uses Lorentz symmetrically regauged equations, which means that all asymmetrical systems are still arbitrarily discarded and ignored. Nature does not eliminate those systems; the early scientists did it and scientists and engineers still propagate that huge error for some inexplicable reason.

The very type of system represented by the source charge and its continuous production of negative entropy is an example of just such an asymmetrical electrical power system. It takes its input energy as disordered energy from the subquantal fluctuations of the vacuum, reorders to apply a negative entropy operation, breaking the “symmetry” of the virtual state vacuum itself. Then in accord with Leyton geometry, this generates a new symmetry at the next higher level: the observable state level where we encounter the usable EM fields and potentials and usable EM energy of the universe.

The bottom line is that all EM energy already is extracted from the vacuum, and it occurs in freely flowing streams of usable EM energy, from the source charges. We ourselves do not have to learn how to extract usable EM energy from the vacuum! All charges and dipoles in the universe already do that freely and continuously. We simply have to relearn how to build and use asymmetrical Maxwellian systems, using the free regauging energy to freely power loads, without destroying the “external” source of potential energy flow.

Dr. Bearden and other scientists’ efforts are focused toward unification of the major disciplines of science, namely classical EM (CEM), general relativity (GR), and quantum mechanics (QM). Since these three main disciplines are presently inconsistent with each other, their approach has been to examine the foundations concepts and postulates of each of the three. They believe that they have uncovered major flaws in these foundations, and that these flaws—particularly in the foundations of CEM—have heretofore prevented (1) successful extraction of electrical energy from the vacuum, (2) engineerable antigravity, (3) an extension of EM to provide a basis for developing therapeutic treatment and cures of dread diseases such as cancer and AIDS, along the lines pioneered by Prioré, and (4) perhaps also an engineerable, testable theory of mind, thought, and deep cellular control in living systems. In short, Bearden believes that they have uncovered the basis for an approach not just to extended, unified EM/GR/QM, but also to a testable unified theory of mind and matter and their interaction.’

‘Contrary to classical electrodynamics assumption, generators and batteries do not use their available internal magnetic field energy to power their external circuit, but only to perform work on their own internal charges, separating them to form the source dipole connected to their terminals. As is well known in particle physics, any dipole is a broken 3-symmetry in its violent energetic exchange with the active vacuum. This means that the source dipole—once formed in the generator or battery—transduces some of the unusable virtual flux energy—continuously absorbed from the vacuum—into real, 3-space, observable EM energy and pours it out continuously in all directions.’

‘By removing the arbitrary Lorentz symmetrical regauging condition self-enforced by the closed current loop circuit during its excitation discharge, an electrical system of overunity coefficient of performance (COP) is indeed permissible by the known laws of physics, and by the thermodynamics of systems far from equilibrium in their active environmental exchange. However, at least one portion of that device must violate standard CEM theory, since the Lorentz-regauged Maxwell-Heaviside CEM model is a locally energy conservative model and during system excitation discharge it specifically excludes the asymmetric disequilibrium condition required for overunity.’

‘There are serious flaws in CEM theory which contribute to preventing overunity electrical operation of circuits built in accord with the CEM model. The energy flow theory, discovered independently by Heaviside and Poynting, is particularly confused. The vast nondiverged Heaviside energy flow component surrounding every EM circuit but wasted, has not been accounted for since being arbitrarily discarded by the Lorentz surface integration procedure for the energy flow vector. This neglected nondiverged curled energy flow component is nominally up to a  trillion times as large in magnitude as the feeble Poynting diverged component intercepted and utilized by the circuit.’

An understanding of ‘broken’ symmetry and the source charge problem, will help clarify that asymmetry is used by charges and dipoles for extracting and pouring out electromagnetic energy from the vacuum, yet not one current Electrical Engineering or classical electromagnetics textbook mentions the energy implications of dipolar asymmetry. (The isolated charge polarizes its surrounding vacuum, so that the vacuum’s opposite charge and the charged particle’s charge form a dipolar ensemble).  Nor do they mention that every charge and dipole freely pours out real observable EM energy continuously, with no observable energy input.

The strong prediction of broken symmetry by Lee and Yang and its experimental proof by Wu et al. in 1957, initiated a great revolution across physics and won a nearly instant Nobel Prize in December 1957 for Lee and Yang.

Thus the textbooks implicitly assume that all EM fields, potentials, and energy are freely created out of nothing at all by their associated source charges.

Either the conservation of energy law is falsified, or the source charge must be receiving the necessary energy input in virtual state form from the active vacuum.’  [Dr. Thomas E. Bearden]

As explained by Dr. Bearden ref there are no Aharonov-Bohm specialists in the usual electrical engineering departments!
