Sonofusion Bubbling to MainstreamConsidering the recent media fawning over the Purdue bench top fusion results, Leslie R. Pastor points out other sonofusion research as well as other energy alternatives that are being overlooked, similar to the AC v DC controversy of Edison's time. Letter to the Editor In reference to:

Good Morning Sterling,
I have attempted to locate both Russ
George and Roger Stringham regarding the
sonofusion development, and have Cc'd copies of both emails directly to
you. I am personally aware of Russ George's interest in 'sonofusion'
from his previous website, and I absolutely recall seeing it several
years back, and was unaware of Roger Stringham's participation at that
time. Hoping that the answers, forthcoming, will shed the appropriate
'light' that we all seek in this matter.
respectfully yours,
Leslie R. Pastor

Subject: RE: A Question Regarding Sonofusion
Your
question is not easy to answer since many more people than Roger Stringham and
I have been involved in development of sonofusion. For example the work of
Flynn is amongst the earliest that surmised fusion conditions could arise in a
bubble, Flynn was granted sonofusion patents decades before Pons and
Fleischmann arrived on the scene. Even before Flynn other early studies
of cavitation were strongly suggestive that unexpected and very interesting
conditions could arise in collapsing bubbles. I first met Roger when he had
one very rough experiment in a laundry room in the basement of a log cabin in
Woodside California in the early 90's, 92 I think. Roger had run a very
limited number of experiments and thought he had some interesting cold fusion
effects but could show no measurements or data of a convincing nature
that could stand up under any degree of ordinary or even cursory scrutiny. But
there were some aspects that caught my attention. I was working on
a variety of fusion studies at the time and Roger and I began working
together. I soon prevailed on Roger to agree that we should together make
important and substantive changes in both the methods of inducing and
controlling the cavitation as well as measuring heat and nuclear signatures.
Together we began conduct experiments and to see and report both heat and
nuclear signatures which were of a significant nature. We then co-founded the
company Equest Sciences. Through my efforts I arranged, managed, and conducted
our joint experiments at Los Alamos and SRI and as well I arranged for and
managed analytical studies of the experiments using sophisticated methods in
outside labs to study nuclear signatures and heat using improved calorimetry.
Another fellow Steve Wolff made dramatic improvements to the calorimetry. Some
years later Roger and I went our seperate ways and have both continued to
pursue sonofusion experiments along the lines of the dramatically improved
methods that I introduced but we both developed. We both make overlapping
claims as to priority to key elements in this field and agree to disagree on
this.
In
the field of cold fusion there seems to be a pervasive and absurd desire to
define various modalities in terms on single individuals when in fact the work
is highly distributed and collaborative by nature. It is a disservice to all
and to the field to continue to try to single out individuals for priority...
Woody
Guthrie once explained the real roots of creativity best... he said; "
they say stealing ideas from one person is called plagiarism, I steal from
everyone, they call that research."

Good Evening Mr. Russ George,
I'm an interested 'researcher' who has followed
your wonderful work for many years, and I was hoping if you could clarify a
point for me. Did you and Roger Stringham work on 'sonofusion'
together? And if so, under what basis? The following information
corresponds:http://www.infinite-energy.com/iemagazine/issue42/breakingnews.html
The reason that I am asking, is because a dispute has arisen http://www.infinite-energy.com/iemagazine/issue42/breakingnews.html regarding
your wonderful work in this field. Who has the initial priority, with
respect, to the sonofusion development? Is it yourself or Roger
Stringham?
Your answer to these questions, would be helpful
in clarifying the disputed information. Since you are one of the
'principals' as well as being a 'primary' source, I beg your indulgence in
this matter.
Source of dispute: http://pesn.com/2005/07/14/9600124_Sonofusion_Overview/ Steven
B. Krivit, editor of New Energy Times, http://www.newenergytimes.com/ has
made an challenge to my above 'clarification' regarding discovery of 'sonofusion.'
Would you be so kind as to elucidate me
regarding the actual 'sonofusion' development, and ultimately, as to the
'priority' in the discovery and its actual development?
Thanking you in advance, I remain respectfully
yours,
Leslie R. Pastor

PS: The clarification of the historical fact of 'sonofusion'
is critical, with regard to priority of art, and it is of paramount
importance that the 'historical record regarding this important subject matter
remain crystal and transparent.

* * * * Concerning Tesla and J.P. Morgan

You wrote: "All his life, Tesla was ridiculed, vilified, his laboratories repeatedly destroyed, by fire, bankruptcy, etc." There were corporate thugs and thieves at the top of the 'food chain' in Tesla's day, too! (only today, apparently they resort to murder, not just sabotage to rob the world of genius). - Read this: "Morgan had already orchestrated circumstances in Teslas life in order to force Tesla to be dependent on him for financial backing. During an earlier period, when Tesla himself had millions from his Polyphase AC generator royalty payments and other earnings, Morgan wanted to woo Tesla with a deal that effectively gave Morgan majority control over his patent rights and projects, but Tesla turned him down, telling Morgan that he had enough money of his own to fund his projects. While returning to his hotel from that very meeting with Morgan, however, Tesla was told that his laboratory had been burned to the ground. It represented a tremendous loss to Tesla and it shook him deeply. Everyone, of course, felt convinced that Morgan was behind the arson. In order to save face, Morgan was embarrassed by Tesla into putting up the money to pay for the rebuilding of a new lab as an act of philanthropy. From that time forward, however, other financial backers were not to be found. Morgan was powerful enough to black list Tesla among the Eastern Establishment elites that previously had hobnobbed and feted with Tesla as if he was one of their own. Black listing and ostracization by officialdom and financiers lifted somewhat after Morgans death, but generally continued to haunt Tesla for the rest of his life."
