Sonofusion Bubbling to Mainstream

Considering the recent media fawning over the Purdue bench top fusion results, Leslie R. Pastor points out other sonofusion research as well as other energy alternatives that are being overlooked, similar to the AC v DC controversy of Edison's time.

Sonofusion Bubbling to Mainstream

Subject: Thanks, For The Memories: Sonofusion: Russ George et al.

Thanks, Sterling,

For your article:

But I believe that 'sonofusion' was pioneered by others a long time ago, without fanfare, without 'credit,' and without recognition. Take a look at Russ George's website. (verification)

I am glad that ultimately, Cold Fusion is finally becoming recognized by the 'mainstream.' It was a long hard battle to gain acceptance, while fighting the huge 'cartels' monopolizing their prior 'technologies,' of oil, coal, gas, not to mention the DOE's relentless effort to build those huge and wasteful hot water heaters, known as 'pebble bed' nuclear reactors, which will ultimately cost the American people, nearly $13 trillion when completed.

I mentioned this in a joint 'researched effort' with Thomas E. Bearden posted at: (membership req.) (membership req.)

You will probably want to pay attention to Russ George for he is one of the finest men I have ever researched, who are worthy to stand next to Antony C. Sutton D. Sc. and Thomas E. Bearden

I want to apprise you of a single, solitary fact regarding 'novelties of fact' technologies.

Prior to Nikola Tesla, there was no Alternating Current technology. We only had the wasteful DC paradigm pushed by Thomas A. Edison, and funded by J. Pierpont Morgan. In the "war of the currents," Tesla was ridiculed and laughed to scorn. The electrical engineers known as 'electricians' of that time, in the early 1900's didn't have a clue about anything Tesla referred to in his lecture regarding AC in New York. Only one man, who by 'faith,' believed in Tesla, purchased the first 40 patents from Tesla for the astounding sum [at that time] of $1 million. All his life, Tesla was ridiculed, vilified, his laboratories repeatedly destroyed, by fire, bankruptcy, etc. Thomas E. Bearden along with many others discovered how to extract 'energy from the vacuum,' just like Tesla 'postulated' and stated in his famous 'wheel works of nature' statement.

Thomas E. Bearden in my view, is the ultimate hero, who just like Tesla has provided the world with a significant opportunity, right now to extract, 'energy from the vacuum' for a mere 'fraction of a fraction' of what those "pebble-bed-hot-water heaters" are going to cost the American Taxpayer. All Tom Bearden and his group would need is roughly $10 million to get a working, reproducible, ready-to-go designed 'model.'

Since there is only one Tom Bearden per planet, maybe we should communicate directly with him and his group, before it is much too late. Jean-Louis Naudin has verified Tom's work. Source:

Stringham's innovation in sonofusion research

[Revised version submitted on July 27 by Steve]

Subject: [other sonofusion innovators]]

Dear Sterling,

I would strongly encourage you to take a look at the work of some of the others who have been innovators in the field of sonofusion, including Roger Stringham. I also think that Rusi Taleyarkhan, who uses acoustic cavitation to create hot fusion; he calls this "bubble fusion," also deserves tremendous credit for having the courage to challenge the prevailing hot fusion hegemony.
Stringham doesn't have much of a Web presence, though he does make a regular effort to present his continuing research to the International Conference on Cold Fusion as well as at APS. I have reported on his story here and also have produced a short video documentary on his work, links are on the same page.

All the best and thanks for your terrific efforts!

Good Morning Sterling,
I have attempted to locate both Russ George and Roger Stringham regarding the sonofusion development, and have Cc'd copies of both emails directly to you.  I am personally aware of Russ George's interest in 'sonofusion' from his previous website, and I absolutely recall seeing it several years back, and was unaware of Roger Stringham's participation at that time.  Hoping that the answers, forthcoming, will shed the appropriate 'light' that we all seek in this matter.
respectfully yours,
Leslie R. Pastor

Subject: RE: A Question Regarding Sonofusion

Your question is not easy to answer since many more people than Roger Stringham and I have been involved in development of sonofusion. For example the work of Flynn is amongst the earliest that surmised fusion conditions could arise in a bubble, Flynn was granted sonofusion patents decades before Pons and Fleischmann arrived on the scene. Even before Flynn other early studies of cavitation were strongly suggestive that unexpected and very interesting conditions could arise in collapsing bubbles. I first met Roger when he had one very rough experiment in a laundry room in the basement of a log cabin in Woodside California in the early 90's, 92 I think. Roger had run a very limited number of experiments and thought he had some interesting cold fusion effects but could show no measurements or data of a convincing nature that could stand up under any degree of ordinary or even cursory scrutiny. But there were some aspects that caught my attention.  I was working on a variety of fusion studies at the time and Roger and I began working together. I soon prevailed on Roger to agree that we should together make important and substantive changes in both the methods of inducing and controlling the cavitation as well as measuring heat and nuclear signatures. Together we began conduct experiments and to see and report both heat and nuclear signatures which were of a significant nature. We then co-founded the company Equest Sciences. Through my efforts I arranged, managed, and conducted our joint experiments at Los Alamos and SRI and as well I arranged for and managed analytical studies of the experiments using sophisticated methods in outside labs to study nuclear signatures and heat using improved calorimetry. Another fellow Steve Wolff made dramatic improvements to the calorimetry. Some years later Roger and I went our seperate ways and have both continued to pursue sonofusion experiments along the lines of the dramatically improved methods that I introduced but we both developed. We both make overlapping claims as to priority to key elements in this field and agree to disagree on this.
In the field of cold fusion there seems to be a pervasive and absurd desire to define various modalities in terms on single individuals when in fact the work is highly distributed and collaborative by nature. It is a disservice to all and to the field to continue to try to single out individuals for priority...
Woody Guthrie once explained the real roots of creativity best... he said; " they say stealing ideas from one person is called plagiarism, I steal from everyone, they call that research."

Subject: A Question Regarding Sonofusion

Good Evening Mr. Russ George,
I'm an interested 'researcher' who has followed your wonderful work for many years, and I was hoping if you could clarify a point for me.  Did you and Roger Stringham work on 'sonofusion' together?  And if so, under what basis?  The following information corresponds:  The reason that I am asking, is because a dispute has arisen regarding your wonderful work in this field. Who has the initial priority, with respect, to the sonofusion development?  Is it yourself or Roger Stringham?
Your answer to these questions, would be helpful in clarifying the disputed information.  Since you are one of the 'principals' as well as being a 'primary' source, I beg your indulgence in this matter.
Source of dispute: /2005/07/14/9600124_Sonofusion_Overview/ Steven B. Krivit, editor of New Energy Times, has made an challenge to my above 'clarification' regarding discovery of 'sonofusion.'
Would you be so kind as to elucidate me regarding the actual 'sonofusion' development, and ultimately, as to the 'priority' in the discovery and its actual development?
Thanking you in advance, I remain respectfully yours,
Leslie R. Pastor

PS: The clarification of the historical fact of 'sonofusion' is critical, with regard to priority of art, and it is of paramount importance that the 'historical record regarding this important subject matter remain crystal and transparent.

Concerning Tesla and J.P. Morgan

Concerning Tesla and J.P. Morgan:

You wrote: "All his life, Tesla was ridiculed, vilified, his

There were corporate thugs and thieves at the top of
the 'food chain' in Tesla's day, too! (only today,
apparently they resort to murder, not just sabotage to rob
the world of genius). - Read this:

"Morgan had already orchestrated circumstances in Tesla’s
life in order to force Tesla to be dependent on him for
financial backing. During an earlier period, when Tesla
himself had millions from his Polyphase AC generator royalty
payments and other earnings, Morgan wanted to woo Tesla with
a deal that effectively gave Morgan majority control over
his patent rights and projects, but Tesla turned him down,
telling Morgan that he had enough money of his own to fund
his projects.  While returning to his hotel from that very
meeting with Morgan, however, Tesla was told that his
laboratory had been burned to the ground. It represented a
tremendous loss to Tesla and it shook him deeply. Everyone,
of course, felt convinced that Morgan was behind the arson.
In order to save face, Morgan was embarrassed by Tesla into
putting up the money to pay for the rebuilding of a new lab
as an act of “philanthropy”. From that time forward,
however, other financial backers were not to be found.
Morgan was powerful enough to black list Tesla among the
Eastern Establishment elites that previously had hobnobbed
and feted with Tesla as if he was one of their own. Black
listing and ostracization by officialdom and financiers
lifted somewhat after Morgan’s death, but generally
continued to haunt Tesla for the rest of his life."

Nothing much has changed in this major regard and the plot

Thank you for your reference to Thomas E. Bearden's work, at

and this important link in the chain is very helpful to me.
