AEC Completes First Live Demonstration
Hydrogen-on-demand, from water, through metallurgic process.
Expecting product shipment later in 2005.
Adapted by Pure Energy Systems News
BURLINGTON, ONTARIO, CANADA -- Alternate Energy Corporation (OTCBB: ARGY)
has completed its first live demonstration of its hydrogen production unit
(HPU).
The purpose of the demonstration was to provide a complete overview of the
unit's functionality while showcasing some of its key benefits, including
portability, safety and environmentally friendly by-products. In addition to
producing on-demand hydrogen in front of the crowd, the unit demonstrated its
ability to power a small generator at idle and under load.
AEC intends to provide a hydrogen fuel system that has mass-deployment economics
and provides small-scale, on-demand distributed generation of electricity. AEC's
proprietary discovery in metallurgy permits a small-scale unit to generate
hydrogen from an aqueous solution through a "green" system at a price
competitive with the current fossil fuel kWh cost of energy.
The demonstration was conducted on Sunday, May 8, 2005 at AECs contracted
laboratory in Downsview, Ontario, Canada. The attendees consisted of a little
over a dozen interested investors and other involved parties. The Company
anticipates scheduling product demonstrations with key strategic partners in the
first quarter of 2005, then shipping initial hydrogen production and electricity
generation systems later in 2005.
Blaine Froats, AECs Chairman and CEO stated, It was evident that our
visitors were clearly impressed by what they witnessed. Though this first
meeting was conducted at our consultants facility for convenience, future
demonstrations will be delivered to the doorstep of interested parties, fueling
a variety of power applications.
Video footage of AECs live demonstration will be made available on the
companys website next week to registered shareholders and other qualified
individuals - see www.cleanwatts.com.
